3 weeks after Cryoablation
During the day I’m feeling pretty good ( just a random persistent cough) but when I try to go to sleep at night.... my A-Fib and fast heart rate (100+) comes back when I lay down on my back and my sides also while wearing a cpap machine This started in my 3rd week after surgery but I noticed if I sit

CPAP weaning!
Hi Irina I was on a cpap machine for 8 years after a minor brain haemorrhage. I never had the typical apnea symptoms and only knew I had it due to my wife's insistance that I stopped breathing for long periods during my sleep. The cpap stopped the apnea but I never felt any benefit to my general health

Weaning off a cpap machine.
Not really an a-fib question but many of us are on C-Pap machines. Has anyone ever been able to wean off their machine? And if so, how did you do it? Thanks irina

Which ailment do I focus on?
I really need someone to "hear" me on line at least. My Dr's are being vague. First of all I have permanant atrial fibrillation, stage three kidney disease, a blocked left carotid artery, Sleep Apnia. And RLS. (restless leg.) I had a full hysterectomy in April 2018 and another surgery in May for

Un-diagonosed Sleep Apnea
A few months ago I posted a question about high blood pressure at night and getting up 4 or 5 times a night for the toilet. I have had PAF for 7 years and was changed to Sotalol following a couple of Cardioversions three years ago. I went to my doctors about 2 years ago concerned with my night time toilet

COPD and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (Cpap)
Hi Guys I have my nice new shiny CPAP machine (full mask f20) and the first night was fantastic, however, since then I've struggled with the machine, panicky gaspy breaths are preventing me from dropping off to sleep, it's as though my breaths are not constant and the machine tries to adjust the air-flow

CPAP - Finally 😁
Happy Thursday Guys I had my introduction and fitting for my CPAP machine yesterday, a sleek looking ‘ResMed, AirSense 10 Autoset’ with clip on humidifier 🤓 I managed about 4 hours with the mask on before waking up. In my sleepiness I didn’t figure that the mask was half off and the airflow was constant

Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea 😬
Hi Guys, Just got told yesterday that I have Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea and that I will need to be fitted with a CPAP machine. This on top of COPD (12mnths). I’m feeling a little anxious to say the least. I’m feeling really tired but scared to sleep 😬😱💤 I’m looking for some direction or suggestions

Diagnosed with severe sleep apnea
I am a 40-year-old lady who a few days ago was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and sought the help of CPAP equipment and supplies ( https://www.cpapoutlet.ca/Home ). A few weeks ago, I decided to spend my holiday in London and booked a flight. Now I am having second thoughts regarding the machine and

PAF and sleep apnea
I have posted that I am going in for treatment of my AFib with flutter in July. One interesting discovery I’ve made is in being studied for apnea at the insistence of my primary care doctor. I have very mild apnea. The interesting part to me is that the study didn’t focus so much on the apnea but on

Glycopyrrolate is working for spit, phlegm and coughing
4 years in and hubby has had bad coughing from the start. He recently had a swallow function test and passed with flying colors. no food or liquid going near the airway. He has always maintained that it was spit and phlegm build up that was causing the coughing and in the morning his CPAP mask would

Cpap and afib
Tomorrow I see my cardiologist and I'm curious what he'll recommend since I'm currently being tested for sleep apnea that test is pending I may need to start CPAP therapy. Has anyone in the community experience CPAP therapy and how that helps with Afib? I'm hoping that whatever he recommends he will
