Son still gaining weight rapidly!
We see dr in a week but his tsh was 1.47 and free t4 is .08. [TSH0.70 - 4.17 uIU/mL, FT4 0.9 - 1.4 ng/dL] He's 11 years old. All other tests have been within normal range (and so is tsh level actually) it's the t4 level that is a bit low. His insulin is 59 but glucose was 74. He doesn't go crazy

Resistance training reduces steatosis in NAFLD patients
In a clinical trial, patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease who underwent resistance training had improved hepatic fat over time, indicating this type of exercise could be used as a complement to treating the disease, according to study data. Researchers randomly assigned 82 patients with NAFLD

Liver symptoms with normal test results
Hello- I started having right abdominal pain about 9 months ago. Concerned about my liver because I have been a pretty good binge drinker throughout my life. No drugs...not even Tylenol, but a good boozer. I've had my liver enzymes checked three times: ALT, AST, ALP, Total Protein, Globlulin levels

TSH levels all over the place.
I have just had a snapshot blood test done at the request of my Dr when he recently recorded my blood pressure at 170/90 . up from 140/80 The test results are marked 'normal' with the exception of the TSH result which as yet has received no comment from the Doctor? Perhaps someone could just advise me

Use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring for short period
Has anybody done this? One of the Diabetes clinics had contacted me for a 3 day monitoring of sugar. It would be nice to know our readings every minute of the day as most take the same kinds of foods. They mentioned a charge of Rs 4000. Would appreciate all your comments.

Usual life-cycle of the dreaded disease named Diabetes as understood by me.
Most persons think & propagate that Diabetes is a syndrome and not a disease. I totally disagree with it. Blood Sugar escalation is only the symptom of Diabetes; disease belongs to Pancreas (to be more precise Beta-cells). Effect of Diabetes on subsystems &/or components of human body: PRIMARY: (usually

Free of all medicines
Simple rules to follow 1.No milk and milk products . This because of the insulin like growth hormone in milk which interferes with the cells accepting glucose within them. I am following this strictly since 20 days . Rest I will post when free.

Have you ever wondered, why your blood sugar remains unmanaged, despite taking a lot of medication ? It is time to think and understand.
The type2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes comprising more than 90% of all diabetics. The primary events in type 2 are believed to be an initial insensitivity of insulin resulting in peripheral insulin resistance and later on , relative insulin deficiency . The important point is
