Here is what a leading Endochrinolgist from a leading Hospital has to say to a T2 patient of 44 years old. The patient lost weight going from 49 kg to 38 kg in her dietary approach to control blood sugar... The YouTube video link is attached at the bottom of this posting..... I'm sorry it is in Hindi

Which Calcium/VitD?
Just wanted to ask which brand of calcium or calcium + vitamin D most people are taking? I have always felt quite unwell taking calcium supplements although the vitamin K2, as recommended here, has certainly helped. I take chewable Kacipos-D which are horribly sweet (glucose + sucralose.) Since admitting

mesothelioma - anyone tried Opdivo or Yervoy?
Hello I am looking for some advice on mesothelioma, I know there is no hope, but maybe I can at least alleviate my dad's condition - he is short of breath, extremely weak and has chest and arm pain. I read about Opdivo/ Yervoy immune therapy (I believe nivolumab and ipilimumab are the exact drug names

Hello I am new here
Hello I am new here. I am a 58 year old divorced female, living in the Northern VA area. I wrote a lengthy introduction in the Kidney Community hub. I just found out I have CKD last Friday. My GFR was 68 in June 2019 and it dropped to 55, two weeks ago. I had no idea I had kidney disease in June

New Member to CKD Community with treatment question
Hello, My name is Mari, and I have been lurking here for a few days, and I am ready to jump in with a question. My GFR was 68 in June 2019, in 4 months it has dropped to 55. I just selected a new PCP in June 2019, and we started with a complete physical with bloodwork. I am a bit disappointed that

I was interested to see this morning's news [1] because it has a bearing on a point I was recently trying to make (unsuccessfully). It's not uncommon to find someone on a cancer site claim that cancer hates oxygen. 'If only we could get more oxygen to the cancer it would die.' PCa is not at all inconvenienced

SM-88 Report; #2 of 2 from Tyme
Hello again, I've been following Tyme Technologies and their development of SM-88 for a while. Very interesting metabolic approach that is being tested on several kinds of cancers, notably prostate and pancreatic. Best to all, Mr Safety Pasted below from: http://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2019

Urea nitrogen 82 High Creatinine 1.99 High eGFR is 27 Low Potassium 5.4 High Phosphate [phosphorous] 4.7 High Protein/Creatinine ratio 167 High Non-fasting glucose 129 [good for me] And this is new, I have had a deteriorating thyroid for at least 10 years.
