Tremor
I must demonstrate the effectiveness of C/L against tremors when and if I apply for DBS. This evening I took one tablet, 25/i100, it became available to my brain in 1/2 an hour. I had no tremor for one hour and still counting. I was dx eight years ago.

Finding a Personalized Approach To Treating Chronic Rejection After Lung Transplantation.
Two new papers examine the processes of lung scarring and chronic rejection of the organ after transplantation, and potential therapies to stop the graft, or transplanted organ and its tissue, from failing. “Chronic graft failure due to progressive scarring is the number one worry of all transplant

How long were you off work after Open Heart surgery?
Can I ask how long those in paid employment were off work for after Open Heart surgery (planned/elective)?

Has anyone had their ablation abandoned due to phrenic nerve?
On Wednesday I went into hospital for my fifth ablation since Dec 2016. This might seem like a lot but I have a congenital heart condition. I underwent five open heart surgeries in childhood. So my EP says my heart is quite scarred and irritable from the operations, hence me having recurring issues with

Heart failure and permanent
Hiya all, I have heart failure and feel it might be getting worse as I am really tired and sleeping half the day away. Is there any procedure to help heart failure? I have been told I am lucky as don't have any blocked or furred up tubes but feel that people who have procedures seem to have better lifestyles

Hi all I was having flutters following a heart attack at the beginning of the year. My GP gave me a portable ecg device that I can use during an episode to track it but it only ever happens once and by the time I put the device on it has stopped. Can I stop worrying about it if they are not long enough

Tender Head after Stroke
I underwent heart surgery in July 2020, after which i suffered a stroke (i was in an induced coma for 3 weeks plus so no nothing about it). The hospital tells me that there were no long term effects from my stroke (short term it shunted my lower jaw to the right a bit and caused my tongue to twist and

BP Monitors and AF
My heart surgery was not able to resolve my AF, the surgeon ran out of time (11 hours i was 'under the knife'). Since discharge from hospital they are trying to get my medication right to resolve instances of dizziness and lightheadedness - as part of this process i have to record my BP using our Braun

Alternating heart beat
Hi, anyone else had this happen? Had ablation 6.5 months ago. Had a few periods of tachycardia, but hotter monitor showed nothing major. Had four episodes which lasted longer and I needed PIP. This week I've been rushing around and have probably done too much and yesterday morning I felt really tired

A thought for our loved ones.
My triple bypass heart surgery was recently cancelled at the last minute. Although disappointed I was OK about it. My wife however was very upset by the cancellation. She had built herself up for me to have the operation so emotionally it was a big come down. It got me thinking. When facing major surgery

Ointments such as Deep Heat for sore muscles
All, I've got a calf strain and was going to get an ointment such as
Deep
Heat
or similar brand. However, as they contain Ibuprofen it says on the packet that you should consult your GP if you take Warfarin (which I do).
