Just wondering if it could have a positive effect on PD symptoms like

Beta 2 Microglobin - an exquisitely sensitive marker for disease activity in many hematologic disorders.
Increased serum beta2 microglobulin levels reflect increased activity of the disease process in question and can be an exquisitely sensitive marker for this purpose in many hematologic disorders. The reference range of beta2 microglobulin in urine samples is 0-0.3 µg/mL. In serum or plasma samples,

It's my health, my body...why is it that my opinion does not count? I am angry, frustrated and feeling helpless!
He then said that I should consider the
DBS
surgery. I was shocked, as I though that was a last resort and told him I thought that was pretty drastic at this point. He said that if I was going to be so difficult, that he may not be able to treat me.

Does DBS surgery help your balance improve and does it stop your feet from freezing, which in turn would stop me from falling so often?

I was scheduled to have DBS surgery on the 22nd, but it has been postponed because I have an accelerated heart rate, which I believe is
a side effect of taking Azilect. I started reading more about Azilect and found that many doctors recommend you stop usage for 14 days before any procedure using any anesthetic as the reactions can be deadly and you should never be given Demerol for pain. I am scheduled to see a cardiologist on Monday

Does anyone have experience of any problems with DBS and the use of induction cookers?
I'm due to be assessed for
DBS
at Frenchay (Bristol UK) hospital next year - having been told I am a suitable case and have just discovered that the pacemaker-type implant may be problematic with the induction cooker we use. Has anyone got any experience with these devices?

Irritable Bowel Syndrome & AF/SVT
This post was originally on the Arrhythmia Alliance site..... I have tried to convince my GP and Cardiologist for 2 years now, that food bears some connection to SVT for me anyway. Eventually I got a referral to a Gastroenterologist who did numerous blood and urine tests, before Christmas. Apparently

Feeling a bit sad
Just needing a bit of a moan :( I have put in a poor few days, pain going down my right leg, pain in my right shoulder, sore back, sore head, post coital bleeding and just generally feeling pretty useless and broken. I've just had my period so thought the worst would be over but it seems to be worse
