Awaiting laparoscopy
Just got a call from my doctor from my pelvic scan, ovarian
cysts
and ovarian endometriosis found. I have just signed my consent to be pushed through for a laparoscopy. I’m so nervous, any tips on how to prepare and deal with the aftermath? Also how long did you need to take off of work?

endometrioma and IVF
My surgeon managed to remove the
cysts
and most of the endo but due to so much inflammation from stage 4 he was unable to tackle my bowel area and I’m due to have another surgery in future.

vimpat / lacosamide stopped fully working
Recent MRIs showed multiple Tarlov
cysts
on my spine, which is possibly causing the left leg pain and movement. It is positional and separate from the RLS in both legs in my arms and body. I see a new neurosurgeon next week. I’ve had multiple spine surgeries and have a lot of hardware in me.

Private care?
Months later, I had an ultrasound showing no fibroid
cysts
, but I think the ultrasound isn't definitive for end (you'll all know more than I do).
So, my current situation:
- Over 6 months ago, I asked for a laparoscopy. Waiting list is currently 80 weeks down the line.

Thrush
I’ve have endo, adeno and a history of
cysts
. Last year I was suffering with extreme bloating and nausea and I paid to see a private gynaecologist who put me back on the pill alongside the mirena and I improved.

Feeling hopeless
I had the most recent TV scan that revealed
cysts
on my left and right ovaries but nothing of a size that should have caused the amount of pain I was in according to the doctor. Their main concern was the thickened endometrium which they’ve ordered a hysteroscopy and a biopsy for.

Finally Diagnosed!
I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, bladder endometriosis and ovarian
cysts
. I'm so thankful I can move forward with my health journey now. Plus, this is also sort of an "in your face" moment to those consultants that told me it was all in my head!

1 year post op with continuing issues
I had that removes, along with some ovarian
cysts
, and the Mirena coil implanted. Firstly, has anyone had any positive experiences with the Mirena? I'm a year in and I'm not really feeling the benefits of it.

Zolodex decision
I have a history of dermoid
cysts
(currently have another) "sticky insides" words used by a surgeon after sterilisation. My consultant has requested a pelvic MRI and given me 3 months to think about Zolodex.

Urgent please help:(
The gynecologist said she can't see any
cysts
and she thinks this has something to do with my intestines and the colon. I'm so lost now. They want to do a colonoscopy next week, and they think it'll tell them more. But I know that this pain is something to do with my periods.

Endometriomas and endometrial ablation?
I understand from what I’ve managed to google that this leads to infertility and im unsure how this resolves the
cysts
on my ovaries. I assumed from the outcome I’d perhaps be referred for laparoscopy. The dr has written on my referral endometriosis across both ovaries.

Adeno diagnosis...I think? Should I still have a lap???
I keep being told small
cysts
/fibroids shouldnt be painful but if there are a couple in the same area could it be? The swelling is on the posterior of my womb, which may account for feeling of pressure on my bladder?

53, Bleeding on HRT and history of Endo
In the past I’ve had polyps and fibroids and
cysts
removed, I’ve had ectopic pregnancy, ablations and laparoscopies (three) and the whole nine yards of gynaecology hell etc. Now wondering if hysterectomy is next step or if to totally stop the combined HRT. Why okay for so long and then this?
