Hello all, I'm still here feeling so horrible with all these symptoms. They put me on metoclopramide but I felt so depressed and distressed after taking them. I do not have good experience with these anti nausea medications. Cyclizine was another one that basically used to make me so drowsy when I was

Chemotherapy
Hello everyone. My partner had a mastectomy early last June. She's due to start chemo next weeks as a "preventive" measure (stage 3). I was wondering if the 6 week wait was too long?

Feet and heel pain during chemo
Hi friends and well wishers, My mom is undergoing chemotherapy followed by mastectomy. She has completed 4 cycles with 15 days gap and 1 of the 12 weekly cycles. I wonder why she has to go through so many cycles of chemo; is this normal process? She is experiencing more pain in her heels and legs. She

Scans
Hi, I have a quick question.. I had mastectomy in Jan after finding a lump of precancer, turned out there were two lumps of advanced cancer stage 2, had an Oncotype test and chemo followed.! They have said I'm borderline as to whether I need to have radiotherapy, but should I have any scans before they

Returning to work
I had a mastectomy in March and do not need further treatment. Is it wise to return to my part time clerical job while I still have swelling and stinging under my arm. I am not eligible for SSP due to insufficient contributions and have used my CSP so am now a 'kept' woman. I know the advice is always

Radical Cystectomy and Neo Bladder Update.
Well, it was a week ago today since my surgery. I'm still in hospital, but feeling pretty good. The pains and soreness are subsiding, and walking around the ward at a gentle pace. The doctors are visiting daily and checking my 4 bags for outputs. The only draw back ive had was yesterday. One of the tubes

LETROZOLE
Hi all, I had surgery last December I had a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I didn't require chemotherapy nor radiotherapy and feel very fortunate. My tumour was receptive to oestrogen so I was put on LETROZOLE , my first 'brand' gave me terrible joint pain. I am taking a different brand now
