Take
counselling
if its on offer. I consider myself stable, very 'British', no nonsense. But this entire experience has wiped me out. I wouldn't take it back and I'd do it all over again of course, but the emotional and physical toll it takes is not to be sniffed at. 5.

Hello everyone, So I've been having
counselling
sessions for pelvic pain, and it's so heavy going. I'm so overwhelmingly tired with having to relive all this horrid trauma that I've been through and it's such a big thing to get my head round when even don't fully understand it myself.

Struggling with others
So here's my situation: I currently live with 3 other roommates. We all have various mental illnesses and it's been hard for all of us as of late. 3/4 of us go to therapy, medicate, and are taking steps to try to improve our situation, but one of us is lagging a bit. She has borderline personality disorder

Hello and Help?
We have a 13 year old son that was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago. He is not doing as well as we would him to. He is argumentative and shows very little empathy for others. He acts entitled a lot. His social skills are lacking currently. We provide him with strategies, consequences, rewards,

It’s not working
Following a particularly challenging day at work, which was preceded by a difficult nights sleep, last evening I found myself submerged in the familiar sort of ADHD thoughts and emotions I lived with my whole life. I have gotten the medications dialed in, I’m developing my inner advocate to contend on

Will I ever stop regretting?
And now that I'm not, suddenly it's all in my head and I should go to
counselling
to see if my symptoms improve. Obviously this predicament is ultimately my fault because I agreed to it, but...it doesn't make the gaslighting hurt any less.

Diagnosis
Because of that I get the entire gold package; surgery, reconstruction, chemo for 6-12 months with hair loss
counselling
and wig advice, radiation therapy and finally hormone therapy for 5-10 years. We don't know the stage yet because the second lymph nodes biopsy results are still awaited.

Could This Really Be Undiagnosed Adult ADHD?
Hello, I am new here! I will be turning 30 years old within the next few months, which sounds like no big deal except for the fact I feel like when I look back on it all I never really accomplished much or completed much etc. What brought me here and to the conclusion that maybe ADHD played a huge

Anyone realize undiagnosed ADHD may have been the problem your entire life? Were you conditioned to not even question anything was "wrong"?

Therapist recommendations?
Does anyone have any advice on finding a good therapist? I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and have been seeing a psychiatrist, but I am wanting someone to talk to weekly. I asked my psychiatrist for recommendations but everyone he suggested either wasn’t taking new patients, didn’t take my insurance

Online Testing Legitimacy?
Hi all! I am on the desperate path of seeking testing to begin treatment. I have a psychiatrist and a medical therapist, but neither will prescribe until I get a test. I'm on a 4-5 month waiting list at one local testing site, but I am going to end up failing out of grad school if I wait that long. I'm

Muscle spasticity and FND
I've sought private
counselling
to try and process what's going on and I'm also seeing a chiropractor which seems to be helping with my posture and overall energy levels. I'm also working on any positive health habits I can. I'm ok overall. I'm managing. I have two under fives so they keep me busy.
