Has rage caused my flare?
After four years at 8mg and recent twelve weeks of
counselling
support for my long term PTSD I was so pleased with myself for managing a slow taper via 7.5mg to 7mg. Big pat on the back! Then along comes a WAR! and I have spiralled out of control.

How do you know when a job is not a good fit due to ADHD weaknesses or if you need to quit? Would career coaching help?
I've been at my job for 6 1/2 years. I have a boos who cares and really wants me to succeed but she needs results. I have had issues with time management, prioritization, lack of confidence, indecisiveness... and have been unable to meet productivity expectations for almost the entire time. My boss

Negative pregnancy test, is it over?
She has booked herself for a
counselling
session next week but does anyone have any advice in terms of how I can support her? And, I want to stay positive and be hopeful but is this it? Is the second test ever positive or are we destined to go through this all over again?

Sharing a Story.....
I just replied to a post with a memory, and thought it might be good to share with more people: Here goes..... Even Therapists have bad days. Imagine if your whole work day, every day, was spent listening to unhappy or negative people, then going home and wondering if you really make any difference

Looking for ADHD support, diagnosis, counseling etc in Philly area.
I am an adult with ADHD diagnosed in my teenage years. I lost my papers a while back and since becoming a mom of two and in early menopause (I'm 43) my symptoms are so difficult and effecting my mental health and production. I feel like I am swimming just to keep my head above water and it is unfair

Heart is aching
I'm in a lot of pain right now. My relationship with my girlfriend who I have known for 7 years, and been with her in person for 4 years, and also have 2 daughters with her is feeling pretty broken right now. I am not sure if the damage that has been done to our relationship is repairable. When we first

, a useful continuation of that I was offered soon after my life was ruined physically and mentally by a spinal injury.

First time for this , never posted anywhere before.
Hopefully this time, now I am receiving support, and
counselling
I might find my way out of this. Fed up with being treated like a child though. I like very much to hear from anyone else "in the same boat"?

10 things I have learned so far.
Professional
counselling
(e.g. just after dx) can be helpful so even if you don't like the idea or think it might not suit you I would say try it. At worst you have just wasted 1/2hr of your time chatting to someone. 4. Hospices are great.

Hey, I am a mom of 2 kids, and married to a great man for almost 5 years. My son is 9 and my daughter just turned 4 last month. About two years ago we tested my son for Dyslexia, and during the testing the councilor noticed that he might have a small hint of ADHD. We got him tested a year later, because

Specialised Counselling
I wondered if anyone has had specialised
counselling
that dealt with chronic pain, multiple operations, complications and infertility. I think that I really need
counselling
but I want someone who understands what I've been though.
