Good and bad news
Zoloft(Sertaline) saved my life twice. In 2013 I had a horrific relapse of severe anxiety. It took seven weeks but the anxiety stopped and I returned to my happy life although fear of anxiety was always in the background. I slowly tapered down after three years and had no withdrawal symptoms. Tapering

Bipolar II and anxiety
Hi, I'm new here. I apologize in advance for the long post. I've been dealing with bipolar II depression few episodes of hypomania and severe anxiety since I was 13 and I'm 37 now. I also have 4 herniated discs in my neck which cause chronic pain. Over time my bipolar and anxiety have been getting worse

All of this is so overwhelming. I have been getting stress headaches every day for a week. The stress only makes the movements

Anxiety
I'm trying to access some CBT and have started
counselling
through work. But I feel pretty hopeless. I also feel I'm gonna lose the best woman I've ever met if I can't sort this out.

One to one counselling and cancer
Sad to receive letter from Rhian Edwards at Tenovus indicating cessation of their 1to1
counselling
service. No longer 'cost effective ' advised to see your GP to access NHS free
counselling
or to pay a counsellor directly.

Anxiety and depression
I think that considering all my circumstances, I have done well and my depression is not severe anymore and through
counselling
I have more of a handle on it. However, my anxiety is worse than ever.

Advice on Counseling Adolescents Requested
All, I recently wrote about my wife being DXd with PSP. She is young, and we have two children still in High School. Many of you have advised that I and the children see a therapist and get some counseling. I am planning to do this for myself, and I have approached the kids about it, but neither seem

COPD and panic attacks
I have been assessed and am now waiting for
counselling
. I was put on Certraline and Valium last week. All this was brought on by damage to my lung caused by the previous surgery. I now don't know if I can go back to work because of the panic attacks.

Any one had ACT counselling or One to one
Sad to hear one to one
counselling
no longer cost effective for tenovus. Has anyone out there benefitted in the past? What is this ACTive package that's replacing it?

Anxiety Update
Hi Guys, So I went back to counseling with my psychiatrist and i explained to him that i was nervous to take medication because of what I've been reading... Instead of him reassuring me of positivity he said if I don't want to take medication he doesn't know how to help me... Like WOW. It seems like

She told me to keep up my fitness and eat more fibre as well as
counselling
. I've been seeing a therapist for the last 2 weeks which has helped me a lot, and made me realise I really do struggles with having no control, which I have read a lot of similar stories on here.

Help
Right now I'm basically useless. I'm so depressed that I can't get up and walk two steps without being feeling exhausted and sick. I regularly think about suicide. I need to go to counseling, but I can't until the next semester of my university starts because then the price will be included in my tuition
