wean off Medrol for adrenal fatigue?
That came as a complete surprise to me, as I always imagined that, one day, I would be able to wean off adrenal support, and then my adrenals would be able to take over
cortisone
production once again.

Moderate cognitive impairment, weight gain, suicidal - at my wits' end with severe adrenal fatigue
I am literally at rock bottom with my adrenal fatigue. I have no social or dating life, I am rapidly gaining weight, my memory is getting worse, I'm starting to stutter and take longer to comprehend basic conversation and information. My cognition has deteriorated significantly over the past two years

During this period I was continuing to have shoulder and leg pains and difficulties getting out of bed - treated by painkillers, muscle relaxants, physiotherapy,
cortisone
injections. November 2009 x-ray of shoulder and hip showed that there was no soft tissue in the joints. ESR was 95.

Has anyone found that CT3M did not work for them and tried another method which was successful. I have been really struggling on T3 only using CT3M. My saliva test in July had improved but my blood cortisol done a few weeks later was very low at 213. I have had lots of problems trying to raise the

adrenal cortex or adrenal extract?
Sorry if this has been asked before. I read recently that patients with more severe adrenal fatigue can feel better on adrenal extract, while patients with mild or moderate AF should try adrenal cortex (ACE) first. It seems products with adrenal extracts contain more ingredients, and possibly more helpful

Is it possible to have PMR and either RA or Psoriatic Arthritis?
He has put me on Methotrexate in addition to increasing my dose of
cortisone
. Initially my tendons were a lot better but now I'm back to square one. I know that Achillies tendon problems are not typical of PMR unless you have taken quinolones.

Any tips?!
He would not give me more
cortisone
because the side effects and my age. I would be happy if I can stop an attack on my own. But that only succeed if I am at home and can use my nebuliser. I think my biggest problem is to control an attack.

Hypothyroid, low cortisol high heart rate.
Hi folks! I'm at a loss as to why my heart rate is high. I was diagnosed hypo a year ago, took levo for 8 months then switched to Armour (now on it for 4 months). Did well initially but had palps and anxiety once I got to 2.5 grains so dropped back to 2 grains. Bloods showed T4 16.9 (mid range) and T3

I am getting ready to have a
cortisone
shot in my lower back and i was wondering if anyone else has had this before? I am not sure what to expect but the hopes are to be able to not have any back pain for at least a little while.

Piriformis Muscle
I just got a
cortisone
shot in my lower back which seemed to help the inflammation but now my piriformis muscle is acting up. I am inquiring about the injection done for this and if it has helped anyone.

Here we go again! Next stop - private?
It's been a very disappointing & stressful day. I saw an NHS Endo in July this year, he was nice enough but I didn't get the vibe that he was going to be a lot of help from the beginning. But I managed to get some more blood tests ordered from him with a follow up appointment scheduled for today. Well

There is a light at the end of the tunnel! Yeeh!
The
cortisone
has sufficiently masked bursitis & tendonitis to enable me to distinguish PMR pain as a separate entity, making reduction less guess work and more science! I think having a young new consultant with him seems to have done wonders to his morale!
