Trying to understand what happened to my embryos.
Me again… sorry but I can’t think of much else. Calcium inophore was used ( my last round 2/3 fertilised but didn’t progress - there was a 4 cell and one 8 cell morula but other factors meant I wasn’t down for a fresh transfer) Round 2 - All 4 eggs were mature, one disintegrated on injection. .

Considering Private??
Hello, just considering a plan B really... Poured my heart out (via the online form) with my local GP Surgery today and received a text response saying need to re-do bloods, so I booked this soonest I could get (2 and half week for just appointment with phlebotomist) so no doubt pending results would

Egg quantity at 39
Hi guys Just had my first scan during stims. My last round we got 11 follicles and 7 eggs, which I thought was kind of good for my age 39, AMH 16.8. (its male factor infertility) This time round they've ramped up my stims and when I asked how many more eggs they're hoping for this round, his words

How to raise nutrients up - Hypothyroid
This forum is fantastic - have learned so much in 24 hours! Thank you all who have helped so far. So with a possible Ord's Hashimoto issue, likely under-medicated levothyroxine (my starting dose should have been 90mg for my weight and symptoms, not 25mg to 50mg which is the guidance for over 65 age

Sinus issues & thyroid
Hi, my sinuses have flared up for no reason. I saw this could be linked to the thyroid. Anyone had this? Also, I’m on 50mg of Levothyroxine and just had my blood results back…. TSH 3.31 (that’s all they checked) and I’m told everything is normal and there’s no further action. However I’m not feeling

TSH is 5.2 for FET cycle any help? Or advice?
hi all I'm on a lot of estrogen 5 x a day vaginally and orally and my tsh is elevated. I have repeated this but not holding out hope. My transfer is due to be on Friday so looks like it may be cancelled. Any advice or one who has experienced this? What did the clinic do?

Positive outcome with day 5 morula transfer. They are here 😍
Just thought I'd post a wee update here to give hope to others in similar situations. After 4 years of solo fertility treatment including 4 IUI's, low AMH, 5 egg collections, 5 transfers and 2 miscarriages I finally have my miracles. This was the result of my final round of IVF with my own eggs. I

UK experiences using DE
hi everyone, I’ve had a couple of months off following my miscarriage in Dec but now ready to explore my next steps. I let the clinic I was with know and they’ve offered a follow up consultation at no cost as it’s technically covered in my last round. I have low AMH and we’ve already invested about

Medscape article: what's in a name? (brand vs genetic levothyroxine)
This made interesting reading and I've got mixed feelings after reading it. Certainly they are focused on TSH as a measurement of adequate levothyroxine replacement, which I think is dubious. However it contains some good explanations. They seem to be totally unaware that allergies and intolerances exist

thyroid issues and ivf
Hi I’ve recently had 2 unsuccessful fet’s, one was a BFN and the other stopped growing at around 5 weeks. I’ve had some bloods done recently and it appears that there’s some issues with my thyroid. (Undectable tsh and below range low t4). I know the big impact being hypothyroid can have on fertility

Small dose of levothyroxine - good or bad?
I had thyroiditis many years ago. Since then, my dose of levothyroxine (and for a while NDT) has varied. However, it has never been a high dose (I don't have any record of it going over 100mcg/day), it has been as low as 25mcg/day, but settled at just 37.5mcg/day (driven by me, based on combination of

TSH high level before transfer :(
Hi everyone, I have just discovered this group and decided to join as I need help to understand how thyroid levels work for IVF. I am on my two week wait after a frozen transfer (11 March) in Spain and asked for the clinic to test progesterone and thyroid levels two days before transfer (09 March)

I had a total thyroidectomy 20 years ago due to thyroid cancer, so my tsh levels are kept very low, usually 0.03 or sometimes even lower. As I have high cholesterol recently I was put on atorvastatin. Bloods were checked today and tsh has gone up to 2.75 though still in range. Could this be the

Newly diagnosed
Hello, Just yesterday I have been diagnosed with subclinical hashimotos hypothyroidism. Starting on a dose of levothyroxine 50mg once a day. As my TSH is only slight elevated I was just wondering what I can expect going forward in terms of dosage. I completely get that it will be different for everyone
