So still can't get Sneaky GP to put my repeat px Levo back to 150 mcg daily. She also refuses to remove or edit records where she wrongly entered that I agreed to reduction to 125mcg daily. I have had lengthy discussions re this. She is fixated on TSH and keeps trying the you'll get cancer, heart

Over medicated
Hello, Sorry, I know I need to update my profile, just haven’t got round to it yet. I had a quick question before I go back to my doctor for a second opinion. Hashimotos and been on Levo since March. Started on 75 now all the way down to 25 Teva and still my TSH is untraceable, so I and the Dr presume

Help with my daughter's results please
Hi, My daughter is 40 years old and a senior secondary school teacher. She's been ill more or less continuously for the past nine or ten years, and getting worse. working out what my results mean
Firstly thank you for all the help I’ve received already with my numerous questions. My question today is how do I fully understand the percentage through range? I have posted my results before and I’ve been told my t3 is low and I’m a poor converter. As an example my most recent results are:- TSH

Could thyroid be causing the issues ?
I have enclosed my daughters ( age 22 ) last thyroid result panel. Her TSH in June last year was over 6 then swung down to under 2 in September but is on the rise again. Her T3/ T4 are always just above minimum. Her father has Hashimoto’s as did her Grandfather and so does her male cousin. Grandad unfortunately

Doubling Dose of Thyroxine?
Hi, I’d like your thoughts and opinions (I’ll make the decision 🙂) on doubling my thyroxine dose by taking two tablets per day. I’m on 50mg, been at that for years, but I still feel cold especially feet and hands. My TSH level is 3.28 and whilst it might be in range, I understand it should be more around

Doubling Dose For Hypothyroidism?
Hi, I know this is not the thyroid thread. I’m here because I’m B12 deficient, SI with hydroxocobalamim. But because it’s an autoimmune problem I sure a number of others are affected by hypothyroidism hence my desire to get thoughts and opinions (I’ll make the decision 🙂) on doubling my thyroxine dose

question about my tsh, t3, t4 result
hi I just received my result. My TSH is 0.38 (0.40-4.5 mIU/L) , my free T3 is 3.0 (2.3-4.2 pg/ML), free T4 is 1.4 (0.8-1.8)Ng/dL). I did my test with fasting and before 9am without taking thyroid medicine. Me last two tests were similar that my TSH was lower than the normal range. My doctor kept saying

TSH Supressed, T3 2.7, T4 12 & Antibodies 38
I've had problem with my thyroid for years but it's still so confusing! My doctor wants to reduce my Levo as thinks I'm over but I still have all the symptoms of under. She's also very confused that my TSH is supressed but my T3/T4 are under or borderline. I take 50mcg of Levo and 60mcg of Thyroid

The relationship between Tsh and T4
I hope this isn't annoying as I am still trying to learn this and understand better. I understand that for 90% of people with hypothyroidism TSH is a good indicator to use for fine tuning their medication dosage. But then there are the other 10% who can have various other issues getting in the way

Can anyone ball park interpret these results please?
Have posted previously in Jan and was advised to get a private test after a bad routine (but needed as been unwell for months) phone appt with Endo. After speaking to his secretary the Endo said repeat test with extras. After waiting more than a month I have now got the following path ‘headlines’ verbally

Endo has given me T3.. What do I need to know?
So after many calls and emails over the last 6 weeks, I got an emergency appt with my endo. 2 months ago he dangled the carrot of "maybe needing to add in T3" but then wrote to me saying my bloods are in range and to review in August. Then he's ignored me. After persistence and many messages, I saw
