Any advice for FET?
Hi everyone,I'll explain our situation first. We were originally diagnosed with unexplained fertility but further tests found two medium sized endometriomas on one of my ovaries and a bit of a low amh as a result of these. My husband thankfully has no issues. We did a fresh transfer in 2020 which resulted

Levothyroxine dose
Hi my son has hashimotos, & has worked out that he needs 200mcg levothyroxine each day to function okay.He has suicidal ideation & emotional intensity & this dose helps him feel more stable mentally . The problem is his tsh arent showing he needs this high dose anymore so the gp has decreased it to 125mcg

The cost of IVF
How do you stop yourself worrying about the financial side of IVF? The costs, extras etc. I'm a solo mum by choice and very lucky to already have a son as a result of IUI (4th go) 2 years ago. I'm now trying for a sibling, so far 3 failed IUIs and 1 failed IVF. I'm 38 with a low-ish AMH. The cost

Good responder but low blast rate - egg or sperm issue?
This is an update I hoped I wouldn't have to make. I arrived at the clinic for my 5-day embryo transfer yesterday full of hope. Unfortunately the embryologist said that I had only one embryo that had made it to early blast-the other six were still morulas. They transferred the early blast and kept the

Looking for suggestions
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's back in 2014. I have only been on synthroid once for about a year. It messed with my sleep and my blood pressure. So I stopped taking it and I became hooked on a sleep med to boot. My last US according to my report are referring to it as a goiter. I did have more daytime

secondary hypo and doctor questioning diagnosis
Hello everyone, I moved to a new GP in the last few years (house move). When I moved, my doctor just continued prescribing levothyroxine because it was on my records and although he wasn't testing T3 he did look at T4 and seemed to listen to me when I explained the levels I needed to be at, in order

NHS IVF refused due to low AMH
Hi, we have been refused for IVF on NHS for my low AMH which come back at 1.25pmol/L (0.18ng/ml) and had to be a minimum of 5.4pmol/L. She also mentioned that my iron levels were high and didn’t ask if this could cause low AMH due to the upset. Do you think these could be related? She said the chance

Confused about AMH and letrozole/trigger and IVF
Hi, I have a history of early miscarriages. Under recurrent miscarriage clinic, I am told to take progesterone and aspirin from positive results, and clexane from 6 week scan. I've not had any medicine under previous pregnancies that led to miscarriages. I also have very low AMH. Experts have said usually

Fisft FET - BFN 😠Need some next steps advice as will be switching the clinic
I just completed my first FET with a 4BB embryo. Unfortunately it resulted in BFN ðŸ˜ðŸ’” Our NHS-funded round is now over: we only managed to produce 2 blastocysts out of 10 eggs collected. Fresh transfer resulted in chemical 😢, and now failed FET. We will be switching the clinic for a private treatment

Levothyroxine no longer effective
Hi Folks , I'm struggling. My medication is no longer working. my Levothyroxine 100mg was working - from November 2022 TSH 0.49 shot up to TSH 7.18. February 2024 safe regions 0.27-4.2. I have no clue how this can change so dramatically I need some kind of explanation. Can someone help me.
