MSA affected by Covid
My husband who is 5 years into this dreadful condition is currently in hospital due to COVID affecting his unstable blood pressure. Yesterday was such an awful day, my husband had several low blood pressure episodes, at one point his pressure was 43/31. He was fine when lying down but as soon as he tried

Immunosuppressed on Actemra???
Does anyone know if being on Actemra puts you more or less at risk of covid complications? I had one doctor tell me I was actually safer on Actemra bc it is being used as a treatment for Covid. And, anyone know if Actemra affects our ability to mount an immune response to vaccines?

Long covid..
I've had RA for near 21 years, in December I got covid and was fine no symptoms whatsoever however, follow on 3 weeks later I started to feel really rubbish, aching in parts I've not had before, pain is excessive, chest pain, fast heart rate, breathlessness, feel like I've been battered and we are now

Bisoprolol withdrawl after only 3 weeks
I have been taking Bisoprolol 1.25mg for 2 weeks, I stopped after 2 weeks and felt fine for 3 days and then I woke up around 2:20am with a HR of 125bpm. This continued for 3 more hours and eventually subsided. I decided to bite a tablet in half and take that and things seemed to settle for a bit but

Covid
Just had COVID and weirdly no RLS for the whole time. Ok I'm taking 0.09mg mirapex every evening. Nothing else works except tramadol which I alternate with every so often. Is there anything else that works. I've tried pregabalin and the others but nothing. I would like to stop mirapexin completely but

Parenting advice for ADHD child (9)
hello I am new to this community and accidentally found this resource while doing research for better parenting techniques and advice for dealing with a child with ADHD. My son who will be 9 in a few days, has had his ADHD diagnosis since right before COVID shut down (January 2020) by a psychiatrist

last run week 8
after coming back from Thailand and ran wow that was shock to the system. Had to have a few days off of running due to covid 🤦♀️😱 Today was two days clear of covid thought I’d give it a go and stop if I had to but I took it easy and did it woohoo 🥳 And in good time tbh I must say I feel proud

Covid and Asthma
I am on day 7 of covid. It lowers my peak flow by 30 percent or so and makes me routinely breathless. The thing that gets me is that any asthma triggers then take my breathing very quickly into dangerous territory. So I am a bit confined to no activity, very irritating.

Covid vaccine?
I’m preparing for our next frozen embryo transfer, should start drug protocol next month. It just dawned on me today that I should check if I need any Covid boosters? Anyone know the current advice on this? I had my first covid jab April 2021, 2nd in June 2021 & not had any since. Am I due a booster

Forstair runs out before I can get the next prescription. The next installment
I’m being prescribed a forstair every 30 days. I’ve spoken to the pharmacist at the practice and she says: There are 120 doses in an inhaler, 120/4 =30, therefore a new inhaler every 30 days is sufficient. Plus, inhalers have 10% leeway so it’s fine. I’m saying: . it takes 3 to 4 actuations to prime

Patient Initiated Returns List
I last saw my rheumatologist nearly 18 months ago and it was only after I had my appointment that I realised I hadn't been given a date for my next appointment, as was usually the case. I assumed that this was due to the backlog caused by Covid and thought nothing more about it until last autumn. But
