Gedarel Pill
I’ve been on the combined pill, Gedarel for about 7 months now but still experiencing bad mood swings when I start taking the pill again after my 7 day break as well as before my period starts. Should this still be happening after 7 months? Not sure whether to change pill or not.

Period after pregnancy
Hello, before getting pregnant I only had periods while on the pill. I have a 4 month old baby which was conceived via IVF and today I got my period! I’m really surprised and wondering if is possible that my PCO could’ve sorted itself out after the pregnancy. I still have 3 frozen embryos but obviously

I had a phone call today with my NHS consultant, I have always suffered from heavy painful periods, excessive pain and very bad hormonal acne for as long I’ve had my periods from age 11 - I am now 23. I had a diagnostic laparoscopy last August to diagnose endometriosis (they didn’t find any) and they

Driving myself insane. Would one week after ovulation be the same as one week into the TTW?
Don't even know if that makes sense so I apologise in advance if no one knows what I'm talking about 😂 and sorry if it is a stupid question but my head doesn't seem to be working today either. Basically I stopped the pill on the 29th May. I have PCOS and have not had a natural period in forever. I

Advice Please.
For the past 5 months my periods have become irregular with them occurring less than every 21 days. They are heavy and I am in a lot of pain. I am not on any contraception due to migraines and my hair is becoming thinner than usual. I’m really worried but don’t want to be a burden over nothing.

Femodene??
So a couple days ago I went to go see my GP to update her on what a gynaecologist had said about me having IBS and not endo. She was horrified at the things he said about trying a diet and more exercise even though I had mentioned it caused me extreme pain. She is almost 100% convinced I have endometriosis

Should I refuse hormone treatment?
Hi there, I'm 19 and am in the midst of getting diagnosed with endometriosis. Due to pain I am unable to go through with transvaginal ultrasounds or invasive scans, so the next step for me is an MRI with contrast. My Consultant has informed me that regardless of the results of the MRI he would prefer

Taking a pill late (combined contraceptive pill)
I'm currently taking the combined 21 day pill (microgynon). I'm in my first week and took a pill 19 hours late. During that time I had unprotected sex. Am I still protected from pregnancy? Do I need to take a morning after pill?

Ladies, contraception and ET JAK2
Ladies, I was diagnosed by accident after going to the Doc for really heavy and painful periods. Paracetamol wouldn’t touch it and I can’t take Brufen anyway due to having IBS. So now I have a diagnosis of ET, I’m on 75mg aspirin which, as you’ll all be aware makes bleeding even worse and can’t be

Feeling a bit anxious and conflicted. Am I crazy for feeling this way?
So, I’m supposed to get tested for STD’s in a little less then a month. However, I haven’t been with anyone for a year. The reason I’m getting tested is because I recently had a blood and urine test and some things came back strange; yet, I don’t have any physical symptoms for an STD. So, it may be nothing

Bad nausea on mini pill
I have been taking the pop or mini pill for three weeks now and I am getting really bad nausea and am struggling to eat proper meals. I am slightly concerned I could be pregnant as it’s gotten worse a week after I’ve had sex but I think it’s very unlikely as I’ve been really good at taking the pill the

Doubling Cerazette dosage?
So I spoke to my doctor today, she’s said that it looks like my endo is coming back as I am getting symptoms come through on the last week of each pill packet. (my diagnostic laparoscopy was April last year - I know I need excision next time). My body is still having a cycle under the pill. She’s doing

Newly diagnosed hypothyroidism and long term hair loss
Dear Thyroid community I know there are some brilliant thyroid experts on here from what I’ve read and I’d be so grateful if anyone can give me a bit of advice! I’ve suffered hair loss ( very thick curly hair previously) and fatigue for 13 years, which worsened at aged 30 ( I’m now 43) as soon as I

Does this sound similar?
Hello all, Hope you’re well. Just a quick one to see if anyone else suffers from these symptoms from endo too, as my last 2 gynaecologist’s said that my symptoms are “rare” and they haven’t had other patients them selves with these symptoms. But I don’t really buy it! Haha So I was diagnosed with endo

Do I have endometriosis?
Hope this is ok to post.... I’ve had symptoms of endometriosis for about 8 years. Before that I had more mild symptoms for 4 years. I’ve been diagnosed with IBS so thought some Symptoms were from that. At first The main issue I used to have was very painful ovulation. After my second baby it was worse

Mini-pill side effects?
Good afternoon 😊 I stared the mini pill in preparation for starting acne treatment in February (obviously everything has now been delayed!). I’ve not really had any problems, a little bit of breakthrough bleeding and my acne is worse. But I’m getting really painful breast. One has always been bigger
