Surgery/Anesthesia with PVCs?
I'm curious if anyone has had surgery with a history of bigeminy/PVCs? Is there any risk? I need cataract surgery--so not general anesthesia--but I think they use propofol? Is another EKG required? Thanks in advance!

Manage pain
Hi everyone! I’m currently being investigated for endometriosis. I’ve had severe pain everywhere for a few years now. I’m 24 this year and it all started at 17. After waiting 9 weeks I had a trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasound. It showed I have a 2.5cm cyst on my right ovary and a small amount

The starts of it all
So I am currently trying to do my own research as the Dr told me to do. I had 2 years of thrush followed by a water infection followed by 2 more “water infections” which they just assumed was water infection as it was the same symptoms as my 1st one. My symptoms started off as sharp stabbing pains

Giving up 😔
After really struggling and finally having my diagnostic lap in December I really thought I would get the answers I wanted. They found and removed adhesions on my right side and found that my bowel is stuck to my POD which she wouldnt touch. I was then told I was being referred to Gastro for this as

Help with period, hormones & eye problems (Meibomian gland disorder)
In January 2020 I came off the contraceptive pill, since I have been having awful (so awful I need to take time off work the pain is severe) periods but also started to have 'styes'. I saw a doctor who put me on a long course of antibiotics immediately once I'd stopped they were back. I then started

GP increased T4 while T3 was reduced. Please help decipher bloods so I can direct her to the next best step with unsympathetic Endo. Thanks!
Hi All, I received this text from my GP today [I called the surgery and have added in the ranges]: “Just letting you know the results of your bloods. Your T3 is the same - 4.3 [range 2.6 -5.7] Your TSH remains very suppressed at <0.03 [range 0.35 - 4.94] Your T4 has come down a bit - 7.4 compared with

Kidney pain / frequent urination in endo?
Hi! I'm new to this forum so hope I'm asking in the right place... I haven't been diagnosed with endometriosis yet as I am still waiting to be seen at the hospital but it is expected. I'm so frustrated with the lack of support by my GP but it sounds like this is quite common amongst endo patients!

Confused after appointment with EP
I had an episode on April 15th where my heart went into a fluttering type feeling that took my breath away and lasted for 10 seconds. It felt exactly the way my PVCS feel but instead of a quick flutter and done, it just kept going and scared the crap out of me. I do have a loop recorder and so I pushed

Hey there Going back on the pill after child birth and the doctor has given me a different pill called Rigevidon, when I googled this there are some scary stories. I am considering asking them to switch before I start. Is anyone else on this pill please?

Late period after stopping pills
Hi guys Wonder if anyone can help. I stopped taking birth control pills 2 months ago roughly and had withdrawal bleed on 24th Jan. I’m using this app to track my period and it’s saying that I’m 4 days late as my cycle is usually 28 days but today is the 34th day and still hasn’t come on. I have been

Help needed
Really not sure where to go from here - how much has it cost people to go private? I got diagnosed at 19, almost 10 years ago. I’ve not seen a specialist for almost 5 years as tried to manage it through GP. GP told me to take the pill back to back permanently and just have a break when I bleed. I changed

Bleeding heavily whilst on the pill.
I’ve been on the pill for 8 months straight, take it everyday at 9pm, but I have started bleeding very heavily & it is causing me a lot of pain? I’m seeing a doctor about it, but it’s giving me a lot of trouble in trying to work out what it is? Any suggestions?

Mini-Pill working wonders!
I came off my contraceptive implant to see how my period was doing and it turned out to be irregular and very very very painful as well as a surprising symptom of rectal bleeding at the same time. To help with the pain, I was recommended the mini-pill and I have now been on it about three months and

I’m about to go on the pill (the combined pill-21days) when you bleed for the 7 days does that mean you are not pregnant?

Synarel the alternative to Lupron/prostap - my opinion
So, I refused Lupron/Prostap after doing my own research and having access to legal articles and extra information. Personally, for me it was unsafe and increases too many risks for me. However, this was pushed and pushed on me and I was always left feeling as if they felt I wasn’t willing to help myself
