I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words on my last posts! No food poisoning! Thankfully! I am having some stomach troubles. But that isn’t really anything new for me. I’ve been dealing with this for a while. I have a colonoscopy scheduled next month. I keep trying to tell myself that

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My Active B12 was just about into the sufficient range. My H Pylorii was negative, as was anti IFAB and coeliac. Homocysteine was fine too. My neurologist’s physical exam was normal ( though the sharp stimulus was a little less sharp on the feet. ) I have been taking sublingual B12 and the tingling

is this hemorrhoids or should I be right to be worried
I’m a 31 year old female. I went to the bathroom yesterday and after a.. sizeable bowel movement noticed some blood in the toilet. This has happened before so I wasn’t too concerned, but I just went to the restroom again today and after I flushed the first time I thought I noticed blood. This was a normal

IBS and Coeliac
I have managed my Coeliac disease since 2009 but last year had a colonoscopy which confirmed my new symptoms were IBS D!! I struggle to know what to eat and feel my quality of life has taken a dive. I have never been someone who gets down but this is seriously effecting my mental health. Two weeks ago

Lots of mucus in stool.
GRAPHIC PHOTO The mucus is out of control. It also appears to have some blood. I've been dealing with this for about 6 months and it is crazy now. I've had blood clots too. This was a few days ago. What would cause this craziness? I was able to schedule a colonoscopy for the end of this month.

I have suffered with IBS since 26 years. I’ve tried different diets and different medications but nothing has helped long term. I recently had a flare that caused severe pain around my lower bowl and right hand side, I was sent away from my GP with advice to take fybogel.. To manage my chronic constipation

IBS and B12
good evening, I hope everyone is doing well I am wondering about the link between B12 deficiency and IBS. I have been getting bi weekly injections for almost 2.5 years now. Doing fairly well and the vast majority of my symptoms and nerve issues have subsided. I have no tested positive for PA but

Update on colonoscopy
I posted a few weeks ago about an aborted colonoscopy due to onset of AF triggered by stress of bowel cleansing prep (Moviprep). The objective of procedure was to see if any gastric issue causing blood loss / anaemia/ very low iron. Consultant keen to try again but this time agreed to use CT colonography

Colonoscopy report
Hi folks, I had my colonoscopy this morning, no sedation, didn't even need gas and air. Hopefully this will reassure those of you waiting for one. The prep wasn't as bad as last time. Maybe they've improved things since then. I didn't mind the taste of the Moviprep, though it was too sweet and because

Hi I am a 31 year old. This year I started having vag. discharge , cramps and stomach issues , among other symptoms and was found by ob to have a 12 cm ovarian cystoma. This was removed and has not come back. I was referred to GI because months later I still have stomach issues. I have had constipation

My decision on Radiotherapy -v- Prostatectomy
I hope this story might be useful to others. I'm based in the UK and had a PSA of 12.7 from a test in June 2023. That led to an MRI in August with a PI-RADS of 5 with irregularity on the front of the prostate. I eventually had a biopsy at the end of September after 3 cancellations (this was through the

Advice for chronic constipation
My symptoms are so much better since my laparoscopy 9 months ago but I’m still constipated all. the. time. My surgeon has told me repeatedly that he’s very confident he removed all present endo and that there was none on my bowel. I’ve had a colonoscopy and MRI which have come back fine, aside from

Colonoscopy and pred
I'm having a colonoscopy on Thursday. I have been told to leave off the 2mg pred I take early morning until after the procedure (the appointment is for 10.30am). The same for all my other meds except amlodipine which I can still take. I think their reasoning is that I'm not allowed to eat anything after

Hello everyone, I am 40 years of age, living in Scotland, on waiting list for Hysterectomy (88 weeks so far) I have suspected endometriosis - symptoms of pain and heavy bleeding from womb.
