Buscopan and it's effectiveness
Have u had a colonoscopy to rule out the obvious! I find buscopan has little effect. Pain like that sounds like trapped gas. Perhaps check your diet. Good luck

Rising psa and a moderate colon cancer polyp
Hi All I had a slight rise in my psa to detectable level of .053. this was an increase from .31. I am now back on Casodex and trelstar. Anyway I get a colonoscopy yearly as I have lynch syndrome and two weeks ago they found a moderate malignant polyp that was small in my colon so the gastro scooped

Moving towards 10K
So for many years now I had reckoned I could not run ! Used to run as a teenager but I had decided that now aged 64 my body didn't do running. I rarely ran for more than 30 seconds to catch a bus or main a connecting train. I did walk and and I liked walking in mountains so was not super unfit -

Colonoscopy
Ask for a colonoscopy. Scans are unreliable and most drs admit they don’t always show the problem. Don’t put up with the pain, only you know how bad it is.

Could really use some advice about what I should do
So I still haven't been able to get a colonoscopy after nearly 2 years since I first began experiencing rectal bleeding and several other symptoms I've been dealing with on and off since then. Anyway, I recently found out that I have some uterine fibroids that might make it quite difficult for a colonoscopy

Bulky uterus/ibs/amitriptyline
I recently had a ct scan which has shown nothing abnormal except my 4cm ovarian cyst and uterus and rectum appear bulky. The only symptoms I have is an unreliable digestive system IBS? and pain in my right side. Consultant suggested colonoscopy, which I don't want or feel I need. I'm thinking bulky

Endoscopy and colonoscopy done...
When I was admitted to the hospital for multiple blood clots this December, my hemoglobin was very low. They later diagnosed me with lupus. But still, the specialists thought that I must be losing blood somewhere for the severe anemia. I had an endoscopy last week and colonoscopy today and both came

IBS?
Hi all I'm new to thos forum. I'm 22 years old and I've been having issues with loose stools for a year now. I'm losing my mind as I have no official diagnosis. I had an endoscopy in October which showed everything was fine. I'm super nervous for my colonoscopy. My stomach hurts only when I push on it

Scared have colon c
Hi I’ve had thin stools for 5 months now. I’ve spoken to my doctor so many times. They just say anxiety or IBS. One day they were normal then the next they weren’t. The day before when they were normal I was drinking veg and fruit shakes and then also taking vitamin C capsules every hour as I had a cold

IBS gone after avoiding milk but not when avoiding lactose?
So last year my problems were suddenly different, more severe and more frequent with no obvious reason why. I was told to try lactose free for 4-6 weeks but no joy, tried gluten free for 6 weeks but no joy, tried low FODMAP for 6 weeks but no joy. Always struggled to eat soy, beans etc for the past 10

My Anxiety Is High Because Of This Friday.
This Friday I go for An Endoscopy And An Colonoscopy. Just don’t see how I’m going to be able to drink This Cranberry Prep. The Golytely is better because in the past I got to mix it with The Orange Juice. The nurse was trying to tell me that The Golytely is on back order. I don’t believe it.

Non-motor symptom medication
Hello all! Curious to know if any of you out there have any experience with or knowledge of any particular non-motor symptom medication? After recently having a colonoscopy which came back negative and an endoscope that came back negative with a little bit of reflux, my gastroenterologist has surmised

IBS aged 84
I have had ibs for over 20 years, had all sorts of tests, 3 colonoscopies, the last one just before Covid started. The last 3 months have been so bad, I rarely have a day without diarrhoea and stomach pain. Coupled with this I have haemorrhoids, rheumatoid arthritis and had a stroke a couple of years
