New here with a big hello!
Hey there Health Unlocked. I joined on behalf of my Mom, who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. My fiance and I researched until we were blue in the face and have decided to move forward with treatment with CBD and THC. I really hope this stuff lives up to the hype. There seems to be so much

MY DEAR SISTER'S STRUGGLE IS OVER
To all my dear Free to Breathe friends, It is with a heavy heart that I must report that my sister, Marta, has passed away. It was a very hard struggle since the end of this last February and we are deeply saddened by our loss. Her metastasized lung cancer, unfortunately, was discovered way too late

Getting Listed on the Lung Transplant List
After almost one and a half years of referrals, tests, minor operations and consultations with surgeons I can confirm that I have now been finally listed to go on the list for a Double Lung Transplant at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester, UK. Week 6 R2...I fell
Screaming I put my bits on my bits, struggled breathing downstairs, by this point I was calmer and the feeling of a
collapsed
rib cage and punctured
lung
had passed. Instead I rang the go, who said go to A&E. Ten minutes later, I was at the hospital.

Transplant
Hello from Canada My question is: I have 26% lung capacity (I quit smoking for several months and I;m so depressed I find myself cheating here and there), I'm done with. My question is my son went to his doctor to see if he could give me a lung doctor said absolutely not, that high risk of rejection

I have even been home for the weekend although I was in pain a lot of the time, it was controllable but I was ready to come back to the hospital yesterday, I feel safe here. I am recovering really quickly wich I feel scary but puts

Should steroids clear exacerbation symptoms in COPD flare up?
I was a heavy smoker and it took me until two years ago to give up, after a
collapsed
lung
and surgical procedure. I've been lucky not to have had extreme symptoms and have managed to exercise regularly, daily walks and three classes of Chi Kung a week.

Sloan Kettering Integrative Medicine Program
Does anyone have experience with the Sloan Kettering integrative medicine program and if so can you share your thoughts? I am a recent RLL lung lobectomy due to stage 1 NSCLC.

Cutting a short story long
I was transported to the A&E department of our local hospital, and from there to a
lung
ward in the hospital. My left
lung
had apparently
collapsed
under the pressure what turned out to be about 4 litres of fluid in the pleural sac. Now for the funny bit.
