Bile leak
Good morning, what I'm going to talk about is rather yuk but, can I ask the group if anyone has had q problem with bile leaks. I felt my stomach burn it started under my ribcage on the upper right. I felt it run down through my stomach and my intestinal track and without it sounding horrible, it ended

Thyrozine and co-codamol
I've been taking thyrozine for years and have just been prescribed co-codamol, I was meant to believe that it's not save to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this and taken it?

Co-codamol any good for RLS or PLMD?
I asked my GP for buprenorphine. He gave me co-codamol. Does anyone have any personal experience of this opioid? I'm not in pain, but have PLMD. I'd love to know if anyone has used co-codamol - and how they took it - and what their experience of it has been.

I will provide some info and am hoping others will chime in with ideas. History: I realized back in July that my heart

PMR and Pfizer Covid Vaccine
Within 5 days of my husband and I receiving the first Pfizer Covid jab, he started getting pains in his legs and shoulders. He took paracetamol & used Bio Freeze, similar to deep heat. He got progressively worse, a GP diagnosed Frozen Shoulder over the phone, prescribed Co-Codamol & Naproxen. Within

low heart rate
hi, I was in hospital 6 weeks ago with a bad attack of A Fib. Came as a shock as I’d had palpitations on and off for a few seconds but nothing lasting hours. I was given Bisopropol and edoxaban to go along with the Ramipril and Amlodopine I was already on. The beta blocker must have worked as I went

hi all, I promise I won’t talk about me or my fears cos I know you have all done so much to reassure me and must feel like you are bashing your head against a brick wall, … I really do thank you all from the bottom of my heart, however I have gone into a bit of panic and upset mode and could really do

Lp(a) results are in ….
I’ve recently had bloods taken to test for FH and Lp(a) levels. I had a heart attack in 2022 at aged 51 and was started on a whole ton of medications afterwards including Atorvastatin 80mg and then a bit later adding in 10mg Ezetimibe. My LDL cholesterol has not been able to reach the target of 1.4

It all started with a purple toe!
I've had high cholesterol for more than twenty years and although I've been prescribed statins, have never continued taking them until recently when I developed a purple toe. The doctor was concerned it was an embolism and I was sent for several tests and to see a consultant. It appears from an ECG

Zanubrutinib and ACE inhibitors
I am approaching the start of treatment for the first time. I have for many years been taking an ACE inhibitor (perindropril) for high blood pressure, which is now well controlled. I have CLL, my lymphocyte count is doubling quickly (~2 months) and my haematologist is considering options for treatment

I have had an unsuccessfully treated lung infection for a year, with HI(b) being one of the bacteria identified. I have taken five different antibiotics including cotrimoxazole, doxycycline and azithromycin (two of which I've taken two courses of). I have had a lung wash, CT scans, X-rays, I am prescribed

Good news Tuesday. Today’s blood test results from the Liver Nurse were very encouraging. Albumen back to normal. Bilirubin heading in the right direction. With every thing crossed it looks like a compensated liver is possible. 3 months of hell may be easing. As Gene Krantz (NASA Launch Team Manager

help?
I’m 41 with ELD liver disease waiting to see if I can get on transplant list. I’m looking for mental health support with this as I could be terminal if I don’t get the transplant, and I’m doing everything on my own setting up end of life (just in case). Other charities can’t help me cause they just

What are your symptoms of regenerative nodular hyperplasia and is it worth doing a CT scan?
Wanted to ask of those who were diagnonsed with RNH what you symptoms were and how it was eventually diagnosed (and whether you went through a battery of tests, all showing normal liver function)? It appears this has a lot of cirrhosis symptoms but is very difficult to diagnose (only a specialised form
