Neurology letter and advice on plan of action please to get some B12 treatment or a diagnosis
Hi Everyone, Hope you are all well today. I've just recently had a neurology appointment that the GP referred me to about my B12 deficiency diagnosis. The letter says I have cognitive decline of uncertain cause. The physical exam says I have brisk but symmetrical reflexes but also some upper limb

Self Injecting B12
Hi My B12 is always low unless I supplement. I am so sick of taking so many pills every day to assist in my health upkeep. I have Hashimoto’s which had advanced enough to cause Primary Hypothyroidism. I also have Coeliac Disease but this is well controlled with a strict Gluten Free Diet. Does anyone

intrinsic factor antibody test
Hi, just had another round of blood tests my anti body test was 1,11 U/ml which registered as negative because normal is 1,2 but does that still mean I have a significant amount of antibodies in the blood? I've also read the test could be altered if you are supplementing b12 (I've had 6 loading doses

Started levothyroxine
Started 50mcg levothyroxine by GP today and getting retested 6 - 8 weeks later is this right? Also gotten tested for intrinsic factor antibodies, given loading dose of B12 and vit D and told not to start folic acid until intrinsic factor. Also complete blood count shows below range MCV and above range

TPO Antibody Reduction 🙌🏼😍
Finally managed to make a dent in my TPO Antibodies. They were initially tested to be >1000 and now down to 551. Apart from Levothyroxine and most recently T3 treatment included I have only changed 2 other things: - I went Gluten Free (because I was also diagnosed Coeliac) - I cut out Fluoride Toothpaste

My RA symptoms came on quite suddenly about 6 weeks ago and have persisted ever since. I have hand pain and swelling every night and I feel like I have extra pads on the balls of my feet all the time. I've been on Vimovo (naproxen) twice a day for about three weeks and my symptoms have improved although

I am sleepy every second of my life
Hello. I haven't been diagnosed with fibro, I'm just posting here because maybe someone can relate or help me. What could cause me to be sleepy every single second? I've got a positive rheumatoid factor of 450 and IgM of 3.1 and calprotectin of 90. I am going back and forth to the hospital for evaluation

Low B12 levels, not sure why.
I had some standard blood test done about 8 months ago with my GP. Not looking for anything in particular, just part of a medical checkup. My B12 came out at 102 ng/L. I'm a 28 year old healthy female if that makes any difference! Doctor didn't seem too concerned as everything else was fine and I was

Newbie... advice please
Hi there, just popping over from thyroid UK for some advice and your thoughts please. I was diagnosed Hypothyroid by my GP in May 2016. I am currently on 75mcg Levothyroxine. Apart from a swollen tongue on which I have candida, and constipation that I take magnesium for, I consider myself very fortunate

Helloooo! So I've been hanging around the PAS forum for a week now and all roads led to here - I'm off back to see the original doctor who sent me for a blood test which came back with B12 issues and who put me on 2 weeks of 6 jabs total which finished 31 August, then two weeks later I crashed so went

Pernicious Anemia
Hi everyone. I'm new here. My story is kind of long, but will try to be as brief as possible. About 5 years ago, I had pain in my right foot. Long story short, I ended with bone tumors, several surgeries and finally ended with a below the knee amputation 9 months ago. During all this, I started losing
