Rotigotine patches
I have been using these patches for a year or so, they do work on an ad-hoc basis, and I have had to up the dose. I take them in conjunction with Co-codamol - they used to help my RLS on their own, but as with most drugs, the effects eventually wear off sadly.....

Hi there. I've not been on for a while due to lack of internet etc. I wanted to share my experience of the Relaxis pad. I've had one since Christmas and am so happy that finally I've found something which helps. People who know me are aware I've had RLS for over 40 years. Nothing I've tried has ever

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Hi Everyone I'm new to the community, and I am looking for any advice or tips to manage 24/7 pain. I fell and damaged my back back in late 2013. Slipping my T7-8 T11-12 L4-5 and L5-S1. As you can imagine I was in a conciderable amount of pain. After having 3 MRI scans and going trough numerous painkillers

No pain killers help? Help! two weeks of endless pain
Panadol, panadol extra, panadol extra soluble, paracetamol, codeine. In the past I have tried ibuprofen and aspirin but am not allowed that because of stomach ulcers I might have. (those pain killers don't help either anyway) HELP! please. I have had this unbearable pain for two weeks and a day 24/7

Got to the Rheumy this time!
I had my Rheumy appointment today ( after missing it on Friday). This is the second time I have seen Dr Hughes in Chertsey and both times I have found him so reassuring. This appointment was so important for me as I have been in a lot of pain, especially in my right thigh, both knees and my right hip

Codeine
I experience REALLY bad nights about once or twice a week when I take 2 co-codamol 30/500 which work brilliantly. In between I wearily soldier on because I fear I could become addicted if I take them more than this amount. If I felt confident that addiction was unlikely by taking them say every other

Feeling spaced and fed up....
Hello ladies, I hope you are having a pain free day. I don't think anyone can help me with this but I had to get this out to people in the know. I am really struggling at the moment with the amount of drugs I have been prescribed. I speak to my GP about the side effects often and he hasn't offered

Painkillers and antidepressants?
Hi, I've been put on Sertraline and once of the side affects is headaches/migraines, which I am currently experiencing. It said in the leaflet not to take 'non steroidal anti-inflammatory' drugs such as ibuprofen and aspirin. I tried paracetamol a few hours ago and it has done absolutely nothing to lessen

bursitis in right hip (trochanteric bursitis)
I have been told I have bursitis in right hip. The pain is unbearable. I started with pain Christmas 2013. It started just above my knee, I saw a doctor in the new year and he put a steroid injection in to my leg and it eased the pain then I started with severe pain in my hip and leg. I went backwards

Sudden 10000% increase in severity
I've suffered RLS since my mid-teens, as I'm 45 now that's 30 years of it. With the exception of the summer of 95 when a useless psychiatrist who knew nothing shoved me on Sulpiride it's always been just about managable in severity. The day I told the idiot psychiatrist to stick his Sulpiride and I stopped
