I know lots of you are probably taking

Who takes Tramadol?
I was using Tramadol instead of
co
-
codamol
at first but they didn't really hit the pain so I've been alternating the Tramadol with
co
-
codamol
, as prescribed but feel like I've been in a trance for over a week. Does anyone else mix these two painkillers or have a strange reaction to Tramadol?

Sulphsalazine - not sure I want to continue taking it!
I've been on sulphsalazine for a few months now along with Hydroxycloroquine, plus amytriptiline & meloxicam as well as
co
codamol
. For the last 4-5 weeks I have had a revolting taste in my mouth along with heightened sense of smell.

Catch up after Three busy days
Since my last blog things haven't been too bad although I have had to take one

so I didn't take it and hoped that I had made the right decision.

How can I ease the pain please? Hands - stiffness, hypermobility, bruising, overly react to temperature.
I was diagnosed last October and did not recognise stiffness as a problem but it is a symptom which has developed. My hands are getting steadily worse needing stretching and bending carefully - I even wonder about the hyper-mobility as the joints appear looser on my little fingers which have always

Sharing the experience!
With the combined pain relief of Chiro and
co
-
codamol
the pain was manageable and adding a deep tissue massage every few weeks into the mix i feel a lot better. I wont lie and tell you i have no pain or stiffness because i do. I still have flare ups but they are easier to manage.

Pain control is there any?
I was on morphine 220mg x twice daily, plus
Co
-
codamol
30/500mg x 8 daily, 20mg x 2 Amitriptyline also, and the pain still broke through. I do not think there a medication, nor exercise jointly that keeps the pain under control. Even cognitive behaviour treatment didn't help.
