Clinical depression

My mother suffered with clinical depression and I believe bipolar. I’ve been to therapy on and off, so I am sure I suffer with some type of depression. I’ve been able to work my way through it and keep moving, but the older I get the harder it gets.

I was diagnosed with postnatal depression when my daughter was about 2 months old which developed into clinical depression after she was forcibly adopted when she was between 6 months old and 8 months old. She's 22 years old now and I'm 42 years old now.

I may need to come off HRT, have low thyroid and also am suffering from what is starting to feel like clinical depression (I just can’t seem to do anything these days, even the things I used to enjoy)…so it’s the constellation of health issues and their respective medications that all need consideration

I have recently been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and was hospitalized as a result. I am having a difficult time believing that things will ever be better or normal again. Is there anyone who can give me hope for a better future. I’m so lost today
