Feel like I am going mad - no change in dose for 7 years
Hi I am newly registered, I am 30 years old and I have hypothyroidism diagnosed in 2010 and I haven't had a change in dose (25mcg levothyroxine) since this time. The only thing I can think of as to why my dose hasn't been changed is because I have cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) found on a chest x ray

Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies
Just received results from recent lab tests. I'm concerned about my anti-thyroglobulin antibodies levels (1730 IUml; RR: 0-280IUml). My TPo antibodies were (66.4IUml; RR: <60). My private endo says to be expected with person with thyroid issue. I am taking levothyroxine (100mg) and liothyronine (10mg

where do I go from here, help from the experts please.
I have had advice from this forum which has really helped and I am greatly appreciated of that, but, things for me are not getting any better, in fact I feel I am back to square one again and I've just had enough of feeling like this and desperately need further advice. My neck has began to get stiff

NHS and TPO antibodies
Hi I am just wondering if anyone knows why the NHS are hesitant to recognise tpo antibodies in treating thyroid issues. My GP seems to brush off the antibodies and focus on the tsh. Thanks!

Hashimotos and supplements
Hello all. I've been doing my research on supplements that I can take to support my thyroid function, but also to reduce my tpo antibodies. I currently supplement selenium, lacto free and attempting gluten free. Does anyone have any views positive or negative on the following: *Zinc (without copper)

Test results, lots of numbers - insights please
NB: I realise it's nearly Xmas - I won't take any action (except online) until next week, more likely January. So please tell me if I should bring this question up after the season's over, instead. I wanted to do the typing asap today for fear of losing the bits of paper by tomorrow. ;) These results
