Coping with Anxiety - Chest pain
Hi everyone, This is my first post on here, I wanted to try sharing how I feel in an effort to see if anyone else happens to be going or has been through similar. I would say that I am an anxious person as in, if there is reason to get anxious, I will get overly fixated and anxious regarding the subject

Costochronditis
So I went to the hospital a few weeks ago for constant chest pressure that was literally so scary and uncomfortable. I had a chest X-ray, ekg, and blood work done. They diagnosed me with Costochondritis and told me to take ibuprofen. This morning my chest is killing me and I’m really nervous but I’m

I’m done with GP’s and Hospitals
From now on, I’m just going to sink into my bed and take whatever is coming. I’ve had it with medics and hospitals. I posted on here telling you all my symptoms, tiredness from waking up to going to bed, weakness, no energy, and feeling unwell, as advise I seeked help. First I rang my Community Matron

Health Anxiety Sucks
So my health anxiety has been really bad the last week or so. I again ran to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack lastnight. I was having palpitations and left arm pain and I jumped out of bed so fast, threw on the first thing I could find and raced to the nearest hospital. Blood work, EKG, chest

Thyroxine v Eltroxin
I was given thyroxine when diagnosed a long time ago. I was allergic and given Eltroxin. This was 'discontinued ' and I was put back on thyroxine. Now I have multiple problems. An all-over body itch, arthritis, back problems, stomach issues. Was seen by a dermatologist who took blood tests and sent

Exercise, age and A-Fib
Afternoon all, Just found this forum as I'm currently at home recovering from a catheter ablation. I'm 51 and would class myself as pretty fit, I've done various sports all my life, field hockey, and various other sports in gym classes etc. About 5 years ago I started doing more serious cycling and longer

Apologies in advance as this is going to be lengthy, but I would really appreciate some input from those with knowledge like you guys....! For at least a year now (probably more like 2), I have suspected I have SLE - but have never been brave enough to ask to be tested. I’ve been to the doctors multiple

I'm new here, but been reading for a while! Really need help from all the knowledgeable people here!
My husband was dx with aggressive PC July 2014 at age 57 by 12 core prostate biopsies - 6 on left negative, 6 on right side all with high Gleason scores 3+4, 4+3, 4+3, 4+4, 4+5, 4+4. PSA was only 3.2 but had risen from 2.5 in only 3.5 months so PC was suspected. Due to high GS decided on RP using Robotic
