Hi! I had a ultrasound today to make sure my pregnancy was definitely non viable as I was told last Friday that the baby hadn't grown and there was no heartbeat with extremely low hcg levels of 593, today my hcg levels have dropped to 393 and when they did the scan it shows a weak heartbeat of only 55

Very low HCG 💔
I had a DE FET on 28/04. On Saturday (8dp5dt) I got a faint positive on FRER. Yesterday (10dp5dt) I had my BHCG taken and it was only 9.34 mlU/mL so it’s not looking promising. I have to repeat the BHCG tomorrow but I can’t see how it’s going to be a good outcome. I’m just so sad.

Effect of thyroid dysfunction on N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide levels: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Papers regarding the impact of inappropriate thyroid hormone levels keep coming out. It would be a miracle if endocrinologists showed any evidence of having read them. And incorporated the lessons into their practices. [i]

Oopherectomy or Hysterectomy?
I feel very confused as to what would be better and if the oopherectomy would be enough to stop the
chronic
pain
. Should I get referred to a specialist endometriosis centre for better advice or do you think this sounds accurate?

How morphine affects sedatives when having hospital treatment
I found the procedure very painful and was told it was because I take morphine for
chronic
pain
. This worries me in case I need emergency treatment where I will need pain management. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Back, Shoulder, Knee & Hand Joint Pain.
Hi, I had an X-Ray on both of my hands last April which confirmed I had Osteoarthritis in all of the joints in both of my hands. I have had shoulder pain in both of my shoulders for many years as my job is working on a computer. I started to have lower back pain in 2020 and always had pain in one knee

feeling useless
I’ve got a doctors appointment to refer me to local
chronic

clinic but I don’t know what to expect from this. I feel so bad about feeling so depressed about this and I can’t seem to get myself out of this rut but I also don’t feel like I should complain either to anyone.
