Waiting for diagnosis
Hello I'm 61 and haven't yet been diagnosed with CLL although my GP has suggested I have it. I'm waiting for my haematology appointment but have been triaged as on the 12 week list. That's all very well for them to say - they don't have to lie awake thinking about whether or not I have a blood cancer

Trimbow inhaler and pneumonia
I have been hospitalised twice in the past year with severe pneumonia. I have been prescribed a trimbow inhaler. However after a bit of investigation it appears that this inhaler can cause pneumonia. Should i be using this?

Low triiodothyronine levels correlate with high B-type natriuretic peptide levels in patients with heart failure
An association between low T3 and cardiac disorders. They appear to very responsibly avoid unwarranted conclusions - which came first? - but at least the question is being asked. [i] • Open Access • Published: 08 November 2021

Tested early but deep down I know it’s over !
Gutted!! I know this comes ups all the time but I tested early at 6dp5dt and got a negative. I know it’s early and my advice to others is to not to loss hope just yet but it’s so difficult isn’t it. I kind want some reassurance that I’m not out but at the same time deep down I know it’s unlikely now.

Hi all, It's OTD day finally after a long 2ww. My line gets darker and my HCG level on 12dp3dt were 230 ( I assume it's a good number at this stage). What was your hcg number around this period? I'm so thankful and grateful for this positive result and for your kind support 🙏🏻 I'm freaking out

It feels like tonsillitis but it isn’t
So yesterday on Monday I woke and my right tonsil was inflamed and in pain giving me a little ear ache. (My right tonsil has never gone down in size after I had tonsillitis years ago but the doctor said it’s nothing to worry about). Anyway I didn’t think anything of the pain just drank some lemon ginger

Should I have the shingles jab
I have paroxysmal a-fib. I know the shingles vaccine is from a live vaccine so am worried about the side effects and if they could trigger the a-fib. Also has anyone any experience of what sort of side effects and how bad they can be.

Shingles twice followed by viral meningitis
Hi I had shingles twice which my GP treated really quickly so feel I got off lightly. I then got VM. I have suffered with neuropathic pain ever since along with some really odd sensations too. The symptoms have improved but not gone altogether, it has taken over 6 years. I have now been diagnosed with

! Sensitive! 11dp3dt repeated the test
Hi ladies, As per your advice I repeated the test today's morning on 11dp3dt to make sure that hcg meds is out of my body and line gets darker. I can see the line a bit darker but it's still not as dark as the control line, is that normal? Also on day 9 and 10 I faced cramps and intense lower back

Good Morning Everyone! I am wondering if anyone can give me advice or has any experience with this. I have just had a phone call from my daughter. I am due to go and stay with her and the grandchildren next Tuesday (4 days time), but my grandson has come down with chickenpox - the rash (very mild)

An unusual, potent antibody to SARS-CoV-2 variants is isolated from a recovered patient
Given time, ongoing mutation of the SARS-COV2 virus is likely to produce a super-lineage, at least as transmissible as the Delta variant and more resistant to current vaccines and monoclonal antibodies aimed at different targets in the receptor binding domain of the spike protein. A variety of candidate
