Surrogate is 9 weeks pregnant but measured 2 days behind at 7 week scan... should I be worried?
Hi everyone, so after 15 failed embryo transfers in my own body, we moved onto surrogacy. By some miracle our surrogate fell pregnant on our 16th transfer but her FIRST. Hcg numbers were great and she has been suffering every day with morning sickness, which obviously I wouldn't wish on anyone but it

Chicken pox
Hello all, A question more for people post transplant. We have all been told to keep away from kids with chicken pox, well I was working in someone’s house today when they happened to mention their daughter had chicken pox!!! She was not around, and I was able to make my excuses and leave without coming

Dialysis / RLS
Wow, this sub is a lot more active than the Kidney Disease sub, one would think it would be the other way around. I guess RLS is a lot more prevalent than people think? I never experienced or even heard of RLS before starting dialysis but boy did it hit me hard. It's already hard to sleep while doing

9dp5dt lack of line progression
I'm 9dp5dt and although today's test isn't morning urine, my day 5 and 7 positives were afternoons too. Is this going to be a chemical? 😩 the only hope I have at the moment is that the day 9 is a little bit darker than day 7. I have my hcg bloods tomorrow so I'll find out the numbers but has anyone

CLL and Hyperthroid
I was treated for CLL in 2018 - chlorambucil and Gazyvaro. No problems at all until last month a random blood test indicated an over active thyroid, for which I am now taking medication. I understand that both conditions relate to the immune system. I will see an endocrinologist in 3 months to check

Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
Dialysis and kidney transplant are the only two treatments for people with kidney failure. It is also important for patients to continue managing any other health conditions they may have, including high blood pressure and/or diabetes. Have another really bad cough and cold (not COVID) - is this related to the immune system being reduced by pred ? I am on 6 mg after about 5 years

HCG/ progesterone levels
Hi all, I am 13dp5dt and had 2 Betas so far. First was 183 HCG and 117 progesterone. Todays was 484 HCG but 98.3 progesterone. I know I’m probably worrying over nothing as my clinic seem happy with these results but once again looking for reassurance that these numbers are ok? I’m having my third (and

9dp5dt - negative
Tested this morning on and a stark negative on 2 tests (both 20ml hcg sensitivity) Are we out? OTD is the 10th but doesn't look like anyones had any success this late on Feeling deflated - no fertility issues, cycle all went smoothly - uterus lining was above 10 - really unsure how to feel.

Hey you all lovely people. Hope you are all well and things are going well with each one of you. The title says it all lol and I'm in disbelief I'm writing it over and over again 😅 I thought let me write a little update as maybe some of you wonder what's been happening with me 🤗 So I've travelled

Hi. I am going through the process for a kidney transplant. I had my first appointment with the transplant deans was supposed by what he was saying. I felt like he was trying to talk me ougetting a transplant. He told me there was no guarantee a transplant would improve my life more than dialysis.

Shingles vaccine
Just seen the BBC news health website. Shingles vaccines being offered to over 65’s ( was 70) and, even better, to vulnerable immune suppressed people over 55 from September 2023.
