Mycophenalate and sore swollen lips!
Hey everyone. Bit of a random thing. I have been on mycophenolate for a few months, been working well but I keep getting really sore lips so using lip balm and Vaseline etc, woke up this morning and it's like they are burnt! So so sore. Went to the gp and she said it looks like dermatitis but didn't

Long time no speak
Hellooo :-) It's been ages guys! how are we all doing? I was looking for a few tips, on Saturday I was defibrilated, 2x150v and 2x200v, luckily I was completely out of it for the shocks, but from the moment I woke up I have had horrendous muscle pain all in my ribs, back and stomach. That plus paddle

Any tips for babies with eczema?
My poor LO has got red itchy eczema all over her chest, belly, back, neck & shoulders. I went to the GP who prescribed diprobase & hydrocortisone cream. Been using the diprobase 4 times a day but it barely keeps it from getting worse, doesn't seem to bemaking it any better. The hydrocortisone cream worked

Hi All, Here are my new blood results-I am hoping someone will have a look and help me with any advice. All these labs are done fasting except water, in the morning, no iron for 7 days before, no NDT before the draw. I am Hypothyroid and have been for a year now. I have been on Armour Thyroid since last

Anyone had a quickish response with Rituximab?
I say this as I know it is documented as not being such a fast worker due to the way it is administered. I have done some research as to how one receives it etc (to the disdain of my rheumys!!) but I refuse to go unresearched into such a medication. I saw it documented that it usually takes 50 days

Pituitary op done!
Hi guys. Transphenoidal pituitary op done on 28/1. Phew I survived it! Had cerebral fluid leak during 6 hour op, thigh muscle used to plug leak. Had diabetes insipidous for few days following surgery. Still very bunged up nasally, no taste or smell, but just so grateful to be home. Had a nasty dip

Has anyone tried topical Hydrocortisone cream 1% for adrenal issues / low cortisol?
I am not advocating anyone do this because you really need to know what you are doing - BUT has anyone tried using OTC topical hydrocortisone cream for low adrenal reserves that have not responded to adaptogens? (based on salivary cortisol profile results, not guess work!) I would be very interested

So for the last 2 weeks I had a rash on my face...
I went to the dermatologist 2 days ago since it's been a week and my face hasn't cleared, I thought it was just a allergic reaction to i don't know what. So my dermatologist said I had a mild dermatitis and gave me a shot and prescribe me doxycycline to take and hydrocortisone to put on my face. Since

Brittle Asthma exacerbation + pneumonia
Hi, I'm new to the forum! Mum of 3 small children (2,3 and 5) and I've had brittle asthma all my life. For the last 5 years it has been wonderfully controlled on 2 puffs of fostair bd and I've had maybe one or two admissions/steroids a year. Just over 3 weeks ago I was bluelighted in and needed back

secondary adrenal suppression/addisons
Kind of asthma related as I probably wouldn't be in this boat otherwise.. have an urgent endo appointment next week and had my bloods done Monday so that I could get results at appointment. Just found two missed calls from endocrinology doc on my phone asking me to ring them asap - never a good sign

Advice on Adrenal Support
Hi, folks, I've been wondering what is other people's experience of finding the best adrenal support. I know that different things may work for different people. There may be something that I have not heard of that I could try, that could do better for me. The situation is I had recently realized that

Phyllocontin questions
Just been put on Phyllocontin - a surprise, thought something else was next but my usual cons was away (grr as I rang up and checked specifically and they said yes, he'll be there etc). However the one I did see was lovely and a good listener so now at least I know there's someone else I can see if nec

Itchy red spots on forearms? I have been given different names for the rash by all my doctors
Mine are very red an splotchy, usually are flat but sometimes are slightly raised. When mine start to heal after about three weeks the pigment turns brown, scaly.and still itches. A skin doctor said we lack vitamin C from avoiding the sun. and to always wear sunscreen and hydrocortisone plus moisturizers

Over the last two weeks I have been suffering with mouth ulcers on my tongue and gums, and a bumpy tongue. I'm not sure if it's medication related or something else? About 1 month ago I increased my medication and I am now taking - 600mg of Pregablin 60mg of Duloxtine 30/500mg of Cocodiene 50mg of
