pramipexole (containing Dopamine), can it contribute to heart regurgitation?
I recently had an echocardiogram after
chest

-

for breathlessness and it was thought to show an enlarged heart , but later found it wasn’t, hence the ecg. It has shown that I have some regurgitation which GP said nothing to worry about but I have read that Dopamine can be a cause of this.

ok too. Any suggestions as to what to try next as she just wants to be well and be at school? She had pneumonia twice when she was younger and had glandular fever about 18 months ago if that is relevant.

Endo or not
They did a
chest
X

and it was clear which they said ruled out issues with the stomach. I went to a physio who said he could see I was in pain and I definitely had siactica as a symptom but he had no idea what the cause was as he felt it wasn’t physio related so he discharged me.

Due for a

and an ultrasound this week. Then to top it all off, rushed to A&E last week by my GP due to my INR hitting an all time record high of 8 (any higher than 4.6 and I tend to bleed into joints and muscles) with severe stomach pain.

Update on progress with MF and the FEDORA clinical trial
After many tests including a BMB, ultrasound on my abdomen,
chest
X
-
ray
etc. I started on the pre medication of 400mg/day (in one dose) of Fedratinib in capsule form. This was the first 4 week cycle and I am glad to say I had no identifiable side effects.

Hello friends, I did a

following a bad flu to check for pneumonia which I didn’t have. The x-ray showed a prominent pulmonary artery. My doctor suggested doing an echo which showed a prominent artery as well. I have zero symptoms and I run everyday 7k!

Gas in CT Simulation
Did anyone have trouble getting good imagery in CT simulation or have advice? Went on a low residue diet to prepare for CT simulation. Both times too much gas for imaging despite cutting out so much fiber and plants from diet. I read that about a practice in Austin, TX suggesting Gas-X (simethicone)
