Common Cold and CLL? What does Immune Compromised actually mean?
So when one gets a "common cold," and has CLL progressing but still in W&W, should one expect to get a worse cold than one would've before the CLL took hold? In the 6 years since diagnosis with 13q/unmutated CLL, my numbers have been creeping up, with ALC recently topping at about 30K, and WBC just

Covid and flu jab
What’s the experience of anyone who has taken covid vaccination and flu jab at the same time? I have heard(whether it be true or not), that having the jabs 2 or 3 weeks apart could mean feeling less poorly etc. What’s been the experience out there, especially for those who have had jabs(covid and flu

Sort of flu
I think I’ve got something flu like. I feel achy and horrible, coughing and exhausted. I have been very slowly reducing steroids and am down to 0.5 mg. I’ve been getting shooting pains in one knee and have painful fingers, I’ve never had these particular symptoms before! I don’t know if pmr is flaring

How often and duration of the Tass gloves?
Just completed the build. Wife used first time for 2 hrs with improved gait was able to walk in house without walker. Used walking sticks just due to fear of falling. Hand printing improved. However today after 2 hrs she said she felt very jittery, kind of like a residual feeling of vibratio So she

I have severe asthma which bag at 40 yr old I’m now 62. I have lots of medications tablets and inhalers etc I’m currently awaiting further tests to check copd and possible suitability for biologics. hypothyroid pins and needles in feet
I have been Hypo for 20+ years and since last winter I have pins and needle like pain in my feet. This is almost constant but becomes much worse when cold. Toes are cold to the touch and not pink. Dr has diagnosed Reynards but I’m not sure this is correct as it doesn’t appear in bursts. Does anyone

stopping aspirin temporarily
hi. I’m suffering from really bad sciatica. The orthopaedic surgeon wants to give me a branch block steroid injection (whatever that is) but only if I can come off aspirin (75mg) for a few days. This is because he’s afraid I might bleed into the sciatic nerve, which could be disastrous. I’m seeing my

Third fresh failed (6th embryo) 😢
Good morning all Firstly I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that responded to my posts and shared their experiences over the last few weeks (sorry I've not managed to reply to everyone but I have read your responses). It's been an incredibly anxious time and just doesn't get any easier the more

Duration of a first NHS Endocrinologist Appointment
Is a first, initial NHS Endocrinology appointment for hypothyroidism, which appears to be possible central hypo, genetic and suggestive of a pituitary tumour of 30 minutes duration, then thrown out regardless of time required to discuss the problem? G.P. appointments are 10 mins. maximum. Are hospital

Internal tremble - frequency and cause
Since having covid in 2020 there are times when I suddenly feel trembly inside. I feel less steady, movement and sensation can be affected slightly. Nobody would notice but I don't feel right.
