Treatment after Lu /Pluvicto?
I'm beginning to suspect that pubished survival benefits for Radium 223/Pluvicto and

cannot be assumed to be anticipated if the patient has had Pluvicto. My husband has completed 6 sessions of Pluvicto (pre-chemo) and is now progressing. His team (including Dr.

Chemotherapy after Lobectomy
The consultant said that there is a chance the cancer could return, and she was offered
chemotherapy
. They gave her a choice between Vinorelbine and Carboplatin. She is reluctant to have
chemotherapy
because of the side effects.

Introduction: Shaunjon, 47, I went through pelvic radiation in 2009. I have been through a lot, unnecessarily, unfortunately.
Chemotherapy
in 2014. I've learned a lot so feel free to ask anything. I have questions but nothing that important.

'Palliative Chemotherapy'
Following first reccurence after 11 months remission mum started carbo caelyx 2 weeks ago. She has just received a letter saying she is now aware treatment is palliative. She is beside herself and now I fear it's going to be a self fulfilled prophecy. Why must they send these letters.

Stopping Actemra
I start
chemotherapy
for the MGRS next week, which is the same as the chemo for full Multiple Myeloma, which I do not have. High dose steroids are one of the drugs in the chemical cocktail I will be on plus a different biologic, a protease inhibitor and perhaps other drugs.

Newly diagnosed metastatic PC treatment options
Should I also start
chemotherapy
with docetaxel? And/or should I also start RT for the prostate and the 4 spots in the bones? Would proton therapy be advisable? I will be very grateful for any input.

High BLood Pressure, Kidney failure, cause discovered
So,
chemotherapy
is helping. On 4 different chemo meds. Tolerating them fairly well, and learning how to balance life. Scheduled for a stem cell transplant end of April, or early May. Stem cell doctor told me my kidney function should return to normal with the transplant.

Mastectomies
The option of removing the cancerous tissue only is not there because they forgot to put a marker in before
chemotherapy
. What is everyone's experience of the benefit of mastectomy in this sort of situation? We also have no idea what her life expectancy is, as no-one will tell us!

Intriguing new research discovery
Instead of killing the cancer cells with radiation or
chemotherapy
, we are showing how to paralyze them. This is great news because you don’t really have to kill the cells, which is a harsh approach that targets both cancerous and healthy cells.

I’ve already had lumpectomy, lymph node clearance, 6 rounds of
chemotherapy
, having IV bisophates 6 monthly for 3 years and I’m currently taking Letrozole and adcal. The plan is that I will be taking this medication for 2 years.

Theme Navigating Treatment Pathways beyond
Chemotherapy
. I am on watch and wait and fairly new to this site. I attended the conference to get a better insight into treatments available. As we all know we are all different and different treatments suit different people.
