side effects of Tamoxifen
I joined Health Unlocked in 2016 when my daughter was diagnosed with both breast cancer and diabetes. She was 36 at the time so it was the full works in terms of treatment. She underwent a lumpectomy in her left breast, chemo, radiation and has been on hormone therapy - 1 tab of Tamoxifen a day since

Gratitude
It is my husband who has AFib. A long story but having a lobe of his lung removed for cancer and grueling chemo causing heart and kidney damage and Covid have all contributed. But I am so grateful for this group. I am a retired RN and sometimes a little knowledge causes lots of anxiety. Thank you

When do I go from here?
I have tried almost all available options and the numbers continue to get worse. Pending treatment options - immunotherapy (low success rate) or JEVTANA (could buy me a few more months). PSA Question
I updated my husbands profile to show his PSA went from -- 2.08 in January to... 1.73 in February 1.77 in March 1.78 in April His next test is 6/6. It has never gotten lower than 1.24 back in December of 2022. Is it normal for some people to not have an extremely low PSA? He

Moving on...to olaparib
I recently updated to ask about chemo options, mainly cabazitaxel with or without carboplatin, or a second round of docetaxel, this time with carboplatin. I had been discussing these with my Mayo doctors, Kwon and Orme. Then earlier this week, Dr. Orme phoned me to report that after another genetic

Cortisol results help
Hi all,Recently started levo for underactive thyroid, have been feeling not quite right for a long time, think it all kicked off when my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 when our baby was only 6months old. Thankfully it was caught early and after surgery and chemo he was given the all clear.

Joint pain.
Does anyone have a suggestion for joint pain? My husband has had prostate removed 2017, on Xtandi for 15 months, then Chemo, now on his 2nd cycle out of 6 of Radium 223. He has about once a week, severe joint pain in his knee. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tall Allen, look forward to hearing

Heading towards TAVR
I am elderly and have metastatic breast cancer which is kept under control with
chemotherapy
, targeted therapy and more ever-changing cancer drugs. Six and a half years ago, when first diagnosed, my heart was okay. Now, it seems it is a candidate for TAVR.

The battle is over
Good morning, A week ago my brother aka Savkid passed away. He fought valiantly this cancer for just over 2 years since diagnosis. I am ever grateful that we had the time we did. Zometa Tips???
After 12 years of surgery, EBRT, ADT1 and ADT2, chemo, SBRT, and completing 6 doses of Pluvicto my PSA is down to 0.10. I have a concern with my ca -125, post op
My ca-125 started out 536, then thru chemo dropped to 219, then 56. Had surgery only dropped to 50. Back on chemo dropped to 19, 3 weeks later and finishing up chemo, only dropped to 15? Has anyone else had a slow decline? I'm done with chemo and having a scan done Monday. I'm a little concerned

A New Direction
After seven years of fighting this disease with chemo, radiation, ADT, and abiraterone, I suffer from fatigue, nerve damage and paralysis and nerve pain in my left foot from radiation treatment, as well as depression, and a constant feeling of uncertainty. However, I am now free to let go of the life
