Anyone thinking to postpone rituximab doses until Omicron wave is over?
I am on Venetoclax plus rituximab treatment and have already had 3 of the 6 Rituximab doses. The 4th dose is due on January 3, but I am reluctant to visit hospital and remain there for so many hours coming into contact with several people of all sorts. I would prefer to wait until the Omicron wave calms

Any link to treatment for GPA and Stroke
I received my latest round of Rituximab on Wednesday and within 20 mins of finishing took a stroke. I'm ok and after three episodes it cleared away. Is there any evidence that any of my meds could have caused it: Rituximab Prednisalone,?? After fighting GPA for six years you just don't need anything

Hope for a healthier 2022
Wishing everyone a happier & healthier 2022 & hope you’ve all had a great painless Christmas. Feeling a bit anxious as having my 1st Rituximab infusion on the 7th January but I’m sure all will be ok.

Venetoclax and high total bilirubin?
Hello, I have been reading your posts for the last several months and the time has come to me to write a post as well. My father, 64 years old, has been diagnosed with Cll/Sll. It all started accidentally a year ago after blood test which showed his Hgb level was low: 10,4 and WBC was high. At first

Anti Viral Drugs - Covid - CEV
Hi Everybody, I know some people have posted some information regarding this matter but I thought I would share the information my specialist gave me yesterday at our scheduled meeting. Currently on 6 monthly infusions of Rituximab I was told by her that I would definitely have access to Anti Viral

Rituximab, given weekly for 4 weeks experiences?
I begin my treatment for cold autoimmune hemolytic anemia, in January 2022 with a single agent of rituximab, given weekly for 4 weeks. This will include dexamethasone with the treatment to reduce any allergic reactions. I know each treatment is different for everyone, but I am wondering what it was like

Has anyone been diagnosed with AAE caused by their CLL.? I was diagnosed with CLL in 2008, but the cause of all the swelling attacks I was having was not figured out until 2013. I have been through two 6 month treatments with FCR, the first because the CLL had reached the treatment stage and the second

Understanding of CD19 levels?
Hi All Well I'm feeling a little miserable after receiving my covid antibody test result with a reading of just 4 u/ml after 3 vaccines. Further more a recent blood test showed very suppressed CD19 levels, I've been researching this online to understand the significance and believe the low levels are

Uncontrolled RA
Im 63 and I've had uncontrolled RA for 8 years. I've been asked to try Rituximab after other biologics have failed but having read up on it I'm a little hesitant as it definitely sounds the worst for side effects. It seems to me that I'm simply replacing one set of risks and side effects from being

GPA relapse advice needed
Good Morning to you all. I was hoping someone who could advice me on GPA Replase. I was diagnosed back in April of this year spent over 2 weeks in hospital and treated with Rituximab and continue on steroids unable to tolerate Azathioprine so spent the summer reducing steroids down from 60 mg to 10mg

Understanding mechanisms of resistance to Pirtobrutinib in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia
Covalent Bruton Tyrosine Kinase inhibitors (BTKi) like ibrutinib, acalabrutinib and zanubrutinib have completely changed the treatment landscape for CLL. However, a group of patients can develop resistance (most commonly as a result of a BTK C481S mutation) to these effective treatments and require further

Post rituximab drop in immunoglobulins
I had severe platelet and neutrophil levels at diagnosis, and they did not recover until 4 days of high-dose dexamethasone after my eighth rituximab infusion. I am now back in mild neutropenia and my immunoglobulins have dropped below the lower limit of normal. Have othes seen this?
