Fibroid and cyst found - think I have endo too, would love some advice and support as it’s scary!
Hi ladies - what a fantastic forum! Will cut a long story short, had a complicated medical history for the last 18 months, not helped by being misdiagnosed; diaphragmatic hernia that bowel looped through (botched op resulting in pneumonia and bilateral pulmonary embolisms), osophogitus and stomach ulcers

Smear test painful
Hi so just had a smear test today this was my 2nd one and it was even more painful than last time I don't understand how it's not supposed to hurt? I seen the instrument after and it was bloody and I can feel blood running out, so stingy like I'm being cut, anyone else get that feeling? :(

Question re: Sleeping meds for insomnia?
Hi: I just moved from Boston to California and my new primary is a PA who at my 2nd visit in 2 weeks (very taxing, a bit overkill & ? Insurance abuse) - typically I saw my old primary once a year=wellness, flushot etc! Anyhow original cancer was in 2010–hate opioids so I’ve dealt with post surgical pain

Hi all, I'm new here! I'm 26 and was diagnosed with extensive presumptive endometriosis/salpingosis in 2014, along with a retroverted uterus. All through my teens my periods were ridiculously intense - I used to have to stay home from school some days as I was constantly sat on the toilet both constantly

Tilted cervix but not tilted uterus?
Hello I've tried googling an answer but can't find one. During a smear /colposcopy I was told that I have a tilted cervix, they explained this could be the reason why I have alot of pain when speculum are used. They they applied pressure one side of the speculum and the pain did ease quite a bit. But

Endometriosis and HPV
I've had a

and I have HPV, but they have only just started testing for this so they dont know how long I have had it for, I'm convinced its connected to endometriosis in some way, from reading online about it. Does anyone have any information? Ty Zan x

Can fibroids suddenly disappear?
I'm at a bit of a loss. This is a long post and I apologise in advance. I'm 51 and thoroughly peri-menopausal as well as having a overactive thyroid (Sept 2018 diagnosis) and a non-functioning pituitary tumour caused by hyperprolactinaemia (diagnosed August 2014). After suffering with heavy periods

Getting nowhere and struggling to cope
Honestly don't know where to start. Symptoms became bad enough earlier this year for me to start going to Drs to find out what was wrong, kept getting told it's all in my head but they did the rigmarole of a smear, ultrasound urine test etc to find nothing. I even went to a sexual health clinic just

Hi everyone, Yesterday I went for a second internal scan (I’ve also had a smear test, many examinations and a colposcopy) to try and work out what was causing all my symptoms. Two doctors in there agreed it looked like endometriosis from what they could see and feel, and I’ve been given this diagnosis

I’m really depressed but no one will listen
I’ve had RA for 5 years and have only been ok on MXT but I get regular flares and lately my feet have now started to deteriorate faster then other joints.
