Chemo+ radiation+combo hormone therapy
I recall the first doctor noting that at some point my dad would go off
casodex
and just have Lupron and zomeda and that he didn't need to have radiation yet.

Major Prostate Cancer Breakthrough
Casodex
+ Zyflamend works better than
Casodex
alone. You get the picture...you can make a super PCSPES by combining ADT with Zyflamend Whole Body Inflamation Response. By blocking the inflammatory proteins you can halt your bodies response in protecting the cancer cells.

Live like you are dying.
The oncologist switched to Lupron and
Casodex
after three months PSA rising now at 40. A trip to the emergency room for swelling in my right leg and groin. Having to rule out blood clots a sone gram and cart scan where done. CAT scan showed swelling of the lymph nodes causing lymph edema.

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Prolactin
Casodex
brought levels back down. No indication that prolactin regulation would occur in the absence of L-Dopa. [8] (2002 - Italy) "Before therapy, a paradoxical increase in PRL levels after L-dopa occurred in 4 patients, 3 of them showed basal concentrations of PRL within the normal range.

Starting ADT
Since he has been diagnosed as stage IV he will be starting on
Casodex
and Lupron ( every 3 months). I'm wondering if this is standard treatment and if we should be asking for anything different?

What would you do?
Now, one year later, with only 150mg daily of
casodex
monotherapy, both nodes have been reduced to 1.6cm. PSA one year ago was 105; now it is 6.7 I am thinking of adding Advodart and monitoring the two nodes with scans every six months or attack them more aggressively. Choices: 1.)
