Looking for some perspective
Hello all - I was diagnosed with breast cancer metastasis (hormone+, HER2-) in Nov 2019 in my liver and bones. My only line of treatment has been Ibrance 100mg and Faslodex injections 1x a month. My last PET scan in May showed no evidence of disease. It was certainly something to celebrate, but as we

Third Faslodex injections
Hi Ladies Just had my third injections of Faslodex today and from now on they’ll be monthly thank goodness...had bloods taken and my denosumab injection...lots of needles!! Anyway my markers have fallen for the first time in about 8 months so I’m hoping this is a good sign that it’s starting to work.

My story - so far
The treatment: I was immediately put on
Casodex
for two weeks and then started with Lupron shots, the first one for a month to see how I react to that and from then a three months shot. I was given the option to choose between chemotherapy and Abiraterone.

On Xeloda- shortness of breath?
Just finishing the first cycle on Xeloda after “graduating” from years on Faslodex and Ibrance for mets to bone, now extending to liver. Have experienced a considerable uptick in shortness of breath starting on day 11 of 14 day dosage. Today (#13) I am truly feeling the stress of walking the slightest

Doubling Flare after 7 days of Casodex and 1 day of Zolodex
The really high alk phos, either needing more time on the

to make sure he wouldn't get a flare from the Zolodex. Although, the Zolodex was only taken one day before this high PSA. So, in thinking about it.. one explanation is a

Faslodex and stomach issues
Just wondering if anyone experiences stomach issues after faslodex shots. It seems that two or three days after the shots I get cramps, bloating, vomiting. I have ended up in hospital the last two months and feel a bit nervous about my upcoming injections.

Hi newbie here
Hi, I’m Dawn from Wisconsin. In 2011 I was diagnosed at 53, with Mets to the bone. No prior history. I was given 6-12 months. I started on Avastin, Femara. About 2-3 years in I nearly died, and my doctor took me off Avastin. I remained on Femara. That’s held me stable until current. My markers are on

Alkaline phos rising yet symptoms lessing?
His alk phos is increasing and yet after he did the initial
Casodex
, got the injection of Zolodex, his symptoms are lessening greatly. He has reduced pain meds, sometimes even to the point where an Advil and Tylenol will suffice for 3 hours. He was on Oxy and now on Hydro during the night.

Just starting ibrance
Yesterday I had my first faslodex injection, and today I take my first ibrance. I’m one of those who reads all prescribing info, and it sounds identical to the warnings about the IV chemo I had before. I’m interested in the experience of other people, and how seriously you take the warnings not to floss

Hi , I went for my normal zometa infusion, FASLODEX injections monthly , and I take verzenio 2x daily . After being so excited and hopeful after reading so many awesome stories about some getting results NED, I asked my onc if there is ever a chance that I could be NED and his answer was not likely:(

“Undetectable”
He has been on
Casodex
and Eligard since diagnosis, with reduction in PSA by February 2020 to .14. Husband had bloodwork Friday that showed that his PSA is now < .1 (i.e., undetectable) and testosterone is < 20.

Hello all! I don’t post much on here but I am on here everyday reading all of your posts and I have to say we are all one strong group of ladies. This rollercoaster ride sucks... I am currently on that ride. I was diagnosed in Dec 2016 with numerous Mets to my bones. I was put on letrozole and Ibrance

Lupron Altarnatives
Can anyone recommend a urologist in eastern US who is currently using Vantas implants with
Casodex
as an alternative to Lupron? I have been unable to find one anywhere near my location. From other posts, it appears that some community members are using this combo with success.

experience w/neutropenia?!
hey all- my husband is dealing w/neutropenia. he takes
casodex
& tamoxifen daily. have any of you experienced this before? hematologist thinks it may be related to the tamoxifen, but isn't sure. worried about him being even more immunocompromised right now.

Abiraterone Failure
(have ruled out BRCA2+ mutation...also I believe we have ruled out AR-V7 expression)..my alkaline phosphate remains good at 45...next choice seems to be enzalutamide (I responded well to
Casodex
and hope to not be cross-sensitive vis-à-vis abiraterone) and Xofigo (I already receive Zometa to mitigate

Tinitus now incredible painful, only response by doctors is to prescribe Otomize spray which has serious side effects, what to do, in PAIN!
Getting very panicked now by the seeming ignorance of doctors where I am registered, I had drops to soften impacted ear wax, had my ears suctioned and was then on Cilodex for 9-10 days of ear drops The tinnitus has gone 10 x worse, its so intense that its now unbearable, I cannot really do anything,
