The pill
Gynie put me on microgynon, but I felt so so sick that I had to come off it. literally felt like I was going to throw up all the time. Gynie now has put me on yasmin and I feel sick again. I have been taking it about ten minutes before I have breakfast. should I try different times? Have all this

PCOS and fertility
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed about a year and a half ago and the GP just mentioned it quickly and didn't recommend doing anything, despite the fact I was obese at that point. I did do a bit of reading up and fought to be prescribed Yasmin and luckily because I am an NHS librarian and brought evidence

Pelvic and lower back pain
Hi ladies, I was told I had endometriosis nearly 3 years ago, and they didn't surgercly remove anything. I was just told to take the contraceptive pill afterwards. I didn't start taking it until July this year the Yasmin pill. Didn't have any problems up until this week where I'm waking up in constant

ET JAK2+ is it invasive?
Good Morning, I was diagnosed with ET & JAK2+ last month at the age of 29. I joined the forum and had seen that people diagnosed with ET had been paid out on there critical illness policy. I had checked with my husband and he confirmed that we did have a joint policy, so I had decided to put forward

spotting and period pains on the pill?
Hi, I started Yasmin 2 months ago (got 4 days left of my 2nd pack) and I'm taking it in 3 months stints, however for the last 3 weeks I've had period pains and spotting most days. Is this normal??

Wanting help for hormones.
Evening, I was dignosed 3 weeks ago with pcos. I am lucky enough to already have 2 children and had already decided after our 2nd with my husband we didn't want anymore. Iv spoke with my GP and told him I'm really struggling with my hormones. I feel like they can be everywhere. I struggle to get to

Endo recovery
I had diagnostic laparoscopy four weeks ago now and had endo lasered on my pouch of Douglas. My recovery was surprisingly short lived and I was back to work two weeks ago although in the past few days I've had quite bad stabbing sort of pains in my pelvis on either side. I've also been putting off my

Yasmin, endometriosis and anxiety
Hi everyone I'm fairly new to Endo UK but I've done a bit of research to try and answer my question online but I'm struggling to find much out there - I wondered if there is anyone out there who can help me. A bit about my endo experience: I struggled with severe period pain - burning feeling inside

Intolerance testing showed an intolerance to lactalbumin and
casein
. 2 weeks ago I starting using goats milk in my coffee and have had a huge reduction in pain and bloating. I had a period at the weekend and it wasn't as painful as normal. Has anyone else had this experience or similar? x

Nervous for first Gynecologist appointment
Hello ladies. I'm new here but I've been reading through all of the posts and slowly all of the pieces are starting to fit together in my own puzzle. My pain first started roughly at 12 years old, a year after I started my period. I would have horrendously heavy periods that lasted for sometimes two

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Coffee
The
casein
proteins in milk bind to some of the polyphenols in coffee. This is well-documented in tea studies, where a high percentage of the beneficial tannins can be lost. (The conjugates are indigestible.) Coffee studies never take the milk into account.

Endo pain relief with combine oral contraceptive pill.
Hi all, I have been prescribed Yasmin combined contraceptive pill to help eleviate the pain I am getting from endo. I was diagnosed in November 2015 after having a lap and had one month pain free until the ache started to come back. Now six months after my first lap I am experiencing a lot of pain

I'm awaiting blood test to check my hormone levels (after telling my doctor I needed one!!) only advice she gave me is I need to lose weight to manage it. She assumed I already knew I had it! Anyways, I always had thought I had it but never

Can the pill increase pain or is it an coincidence?
Having a bad day today, bit disappointed because I seemed to be doing well. The last few months have been awful and I've had pretty much every test going (ultrasound, mri, colonoscopy) and everything didn't show anything major. I am under the pain team and have been started on Amitriptyline and Pregabalin

Can endo cause these bowel symptoms?
I have suspected endometriosis, but been putting off getting a lap due to important life events like my final year university and getting a job etc. During this time I have been taking Yasmin continuously and this helps massively. However recently I decided I wanted to come off the pill for a bit (

Where to go next?
Hi, firstly a slight intro - I'm 20 years old (nearly 21) and in my third year of uni studying Psychology and currently doing my dissertation. I have been suffering with Endo for around 6 years. Hi everyone, My mum has been possibly diagnosed with lung cancer, on New Year's Day. She had a bronchiscopy last Tuesday. We are awaiting the results. At home everything seems to be moving so slowly, with no real info on what's going on and what to expect. Does anyone know how long it takes before
