Lopressor
Was fine on 25/25 but that was when I was in NSR after
cardioversion
for two years. Now
cardioversion
does not work. Symptomatic on higher doses Wobbly blurred vision etc. Also on Eliquis. Has anyone had experience with Pulmonary Vein Isolation Ablation? I may be a candidate for this.

Looking for anyone in similar situation re Cardioversion
Had Echo, Consultant review and on list for
Cardioversion
end of Feb. I have no idea that my HB is irregular. Only real symptom is finding it tougher going on hills. I’ve read people reports after
cardioversion
when they say NSR only lasted a few hours, days, whatever.

An update - I had my
cardioversion
privately a week ago - all good, so far….. I feel so much better. HR now around 55-60 instead of 90-100 ( on high dose drugs) I was immediately taken off Digoxin and told to continue the BB Nebivolol 10mg a day.

Two weeks after ablation and I'm on the list for a cardioversion
Is there a realistic chance I'll go into, and stay in, normal rhythm before the
cardioversion
? I know it's early days but the nurses have clearly decided to have an intervention in place if needed.

Angiogram plus possible angioplasty vs CT Angiogram
Failed
cardioversion
recently. Ablation or drug assisted
cardioversion
next step. However, next stage is angiogram plus possible angioplasty in April. I’m grateful for treatment of course and very wary of questioning NHS support.

Post Cardioversion
In my previous post I explained that my 3rd carioversion did not work even after one hour I was back into afib. However something strange is happening or at least it seems strange to me but may be normal. Five days after my cardio I got up around 2:30-3:00 am to use the loo. I could feel my heart in

Follow up after cardioversion
Hi all, I had my first
cardioversion
in February. It was done privately as I was in a ‘holding pen’, according to my GP. (Waiting to see a cardiologist ) I was in continuous AF for six weeks, for the first time. Anyway, this procedure was successful and I am now two months in.

Update after cardioversion
Had my
cardioversion
this morning and my heart is now back I sinus rhythm. Doc said it will probably return. Gave me a new medicine amiodatone , 200mg to help keep my heart in sinus rhythm. Said my two ventricles were somewhat enlarged due to age and exercise.

Ablation cancelled due to my weight!
He is going to book me in for a 2nd
cardioversion
in 6 - 8 weeks - so with the change in medication and the new attempt to lose weight, we'll see how the next few weeks pan out!

light headed after cardioversion
I had
cardioversion
2 days ago which put me back into sinus rhythm. This will be my 3rd one. I usually feel great afterwards but this time I still feel light headed and tired. I did some light exercise today and heart rate raised to 140 which is high for me. Has anyone else had this?

Ablation or Not?
I felt much better immediately after the
cardioversion
and in normal sinus rhythm, but when the AF returned, I noticed that it was slightly different.

1st question re cardioversion
Apart from a brief conversation re
cardioversion
and ablation when I was 1st diagnosed, none of the cardiologists I have seen have suggested that I should have
cardioversion
. I am currently taking 10mg of Bisoprolol a day in two 5mg tablets, morning and afternoon, 10mg Ramipril and 60mg Edoxaban.

After cardioversion
Hi me again My husband had a
cardioversion
on Friday. It wasn't the same as usual when he has had Arrythmia but for severe atrial flutter and it was a rushed job in A & E where he was only partially sedated so he felt it. His heart rhythm/ speed is back to normal but he feels rubbish.
