Hypoxic brain injury post cardiac arrest
My dad (59 years) had a
cardiac
arrest
at home. My partner performed CPR and once the amublance he regained a pulse after continued CPR and the use of a defibrillator (noted 30mins down time) he was taken into ITU where everything was regulated and he was at this time heavily sedated.

My best friend died of COPD. Need answer
I can think of only two scenarios- either
cardiac
arrest
or asphyxiation. What I fear is that if it was asphyxiation, it might have been a long and painful process as even though her oxygen levels would have dropped, they might not have dropped too much to cause an immediate death.

Cardiac Arrest survivors wanted!
If you are one, you might be interested in the Guinness World Record attempt for the largest gathering of
cardiac
arrest
survivors in one place, taking place on 9th June at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, Essex.

Cardiac Arrest
My question is after a
Cardiac
Arrest
, what is life like? I have a friend who's family member has suffered
Cardiac
Arrest
, from my friend I am aware that after a
cardiac
arrest
the person cannot do basic things by themselves anymore for example, eat, walk, talk and many more.

In and out of Afib.
I had a cardiac ablation on April 30th. After procedure, I was in normal sinus rhythm for 4 days. The last two days, I'm experiencing a couple afib episodes, and back to sinus today. I hope it's normal.

Been a member for a while but only just found this forum.
But he "walked" 45 mins all the way to the hospital, stood at the counter and said "I think I'm having a heart attack", as this stupid receptionist messed about trying to find our post code, hubby got closer and closer to the floor and went into

Bullying/harassment at work
My partner suffered a out of hospital
cardiac
arrest
in September 2016 and suffered from Hypoxic Brain Injury. He was more or less forced to go back to work in January 2017 so that he kept his job and since then has suffered bullying and harassment from his boss ever since.

How long does cardiac ablation typically last for re-entrant tachycardia?
I thought I was free of it( re-entrant tachycardia) after the last ablation however my other Cardiologist ( not the E.P. cardiologist) said it usually lasts for about a year. I hope I heard that wrong!

Worried Wife
The doctor that took over his case seems to think he lost some oxygen during his
cardiac
arrest
. Is there anyone who had a similar experience that regained their memory back in time? He seems to be going back in time instead what’s been going on before he got ill.

6 weeks - Subchorionic Bleed
Hey so had 5DFET transfer 20th April. Got our BFP and all was looking good. I had a huge bleed last night and had an early scan. HCG levels are 30897 and the Baby looked fine, right size and good heartbeat. They found the bleed was because I have a large subchorionic bleed below the GS. I have been signed
