Anxiety and fear due to cardiac arrest 2 years ago
On the 12th Oct this year was 2 years since my SCA that I had out of hospital due to a severely damaged and narrowed aorta which has since been replaced due to
cardiac
arrest
which was witnessed by my young children, it's been 2 years now as I say but I don't feel like I have progressed in anyway forward

38,cancer survivor and open heart surgery, this poem is my life x
Days of no sleep, days of no rest, then along came my heart surgery complete with
cardiac
arrest
. At 37 I was still fighting, now facing my biggest operation. Open heart surgery, why me ? Why all the suffering for all to see ?

Failure at getting off antiarrhythmic med
March 2021, afib episodes, while deep breathing to try to slow my heart rate, fell in syncope, had sustained vtach, vfib and
cardiac
arrest
. Fortunately, I was already hospitalized for rapid afib and watched on a heart monitor. 2 days later I had a pacemaker/defibrilator.

Stop the world I want to get off!
My beautiful 46 year old son who has just moved to Penang on the 7 Sept to start a new adventure with his young family, has been cruelly taken away by a
cardiac
arrest
. He had a heart defect which was not detectable. Too too obscene for words. I’m struggling to come to terms with this reality.

Stents
Hi my husband suffered
cardiac
arrest
4 1/2 years ago. This has left him disabled and severe hypoxia brain injury and needs 24/7 care. He has never had any intervention as it was feared bypass would give him further brain injury.

Ejection fraction back to normal 4 months after SCA + HA
Of course, EF is just one measure of overall cardiovascular health, but I wanted to give a bit of good news: I suffered
cardiac
arrest
and a later heart attack at the end of April (had previous LAD stents, so not my first rodeo).

Hospitals in dire straits.
Now I'm wondering what would happen if I had a
cardiac
arrest
or something really bad. Seems we have to live or die with this situation for some time to come. Scary thought.

Please suggest some cardiac exercise for people above age 60?
Today so many people are suffering from
cardiac
arrest
disease, many of them are lose their life. Most of the time people at the age of 60 and above are suffering from this health issue, So kindly mention some simple exercises to reduce the risk of cardiac exercise.

Angiogram worry
He had
cardiac
arrest
nearly 5 years ago which left him with severe hypoxia ! He has been managed on meds! Bypass not suitable as further brain damage may occur! The time has come for intervention! I am worried he will not be able to keep still! Would they give general anaesthetic?
