Advice on Next Steps
Just had DaVinci prostatectomy and received pathology report - they wrote "focal intraductal
carcinoma
suggested" but apparently the good news is "negative margins". They also took out 25 lymph nodes and 0 came back positive. No seminal vesicle invasion and no bladder neck invasion.

New to Forum
Biopsy showed 3 of 12 samples with intraductal
carcinoma
(at 40%, 50%, and 5% each). Biopsy referred to it as "non invasive" (confined to ducts) and so there was NO Gleason score. MRI showed "mild transition zone enlargement" and 10.5 x 7.0 mm focal T2 hypointensity.

When the human PC-3 prostate
carcinoma
cell line was cultured in MET-free, homocysteine-containing (MET-HCY+) medium, there was an extreme increment in DNA content without cell division indicating that the cells were blocked in S phase.

His pathology report also noted intraductal cancer which was non-invasive and actually said the following "whether these lesions represent cancerization of ducts and glands by invasive
carcinoma
or a de novo lesion arising within the ducts,... definitive treatment is recommended".

Recurring ovarian cancer?
I was diagnosed with Stage 1a Adeno
carcinoma
at 26, in 2008. It took a while to be seen as I was so young and my main symptom was irregular bleeding until the cyst grew to 19 cm and 3 and a half pounds. Blood tests were all normal levels throughout.

Distinguishing different responses to thyroid hormone medication in a group of patients on T4 only
Results: Equilibria between TSH, FT4 and FT3 serum concentrations in 342 patients were related to treatment indication (benign goitre, autoimmune thyroiditis, thyroid
), displaying complex interactive response patterns. 77 patients treated with LT4 and monitored for thyroid

Negative genetic test results and treatment impacts
I was diagnosed with Stage 2a low grade serous
carcinoma
, had a total hysterectomy and currently receiving frontline Taxol/Carbol treatments. I’ve had 3 treatments with 3 more to go. I had genetic testing of a 43 gene panel and the results were all negative.

carcinoma
, Hurthle cell variant; capsular invasion, partially encapsulated. No lymph node involvement. Chronic Lymphocytic thyroiditis (Hashimoto) was also identified, (of which no one informed me! Thank goodness I asked for the pathology report).
