Cost of CLL Drugs in the USA
Why is the cost of drugs such as Imbruvica and
Calquence
so high in the USA under Medicare? With most Part D insurance, the copay is still 25%. Has anyone found more affordable ways to get Imbruvica?

First Time Post: CLL in full relapse mode + vaccines and Calquence next line of defense.
Because I have a pre-existing (heart) arrhythmia it was decided to go with the
Calquence
. I will start that up as early as next week and am very much looking forward to some relief from this horrible fatigue, swollen lymph nodes and brain fog!

Hoping to turn a corner on this long road...sorry in advance for a long intro...it's been a long road
He just did 2 months of
Calquence
, hoping that would work as a monotherapy. But it hasn't done enough to give him quality of life. So he starts Gazyva (obinutuzumab) on Wednesday this coming week (9/9). I've researched the heck out of it.
