Sudden onset RLS
Could
calcium
build up cause RLS symptoms? Should I ask for that in the blood test? 6. I've read that GABA and glutamate can play a role in RLS. Might having constant stress reduce GABA? And are there people here that have managed there RLS by focussing on stress reduction? 7.

Worried Mom thinking the worst
Calcium
has been high/high end of normal (10.2-10.7) and phosphorus normal. His PTH is high. The nephrologist says he has secondary Hyperparathyroidism but given his high
calcium
, I don’t think that’s true. He’s having a VCUG on Monday. He’s not circumcised so this will be extra tough.

Happy Holidays
They want me taking D3, and
calcium
that's about it. I also take Zyflamend, NAC, Coq10 (last 2 , I took because of a growth on my right lung, since disappeared. ) and a multi vitamin. I come into this forum and it's overwhelming. I know the worm will turn but when?

Recent hip replacement following trip on drive now prescribed Adcal D3. Read this can lead to strokes and heart attacks over time.
Will a
calcium
and D3 diet be better than taking Adcal D3. Also on 20 mg omeprazole which can lessen
calcium
absorption.

I was wondering when I could take certain supplements such as digestive enzymes or anything really.
I understand that
calcium
and magnesium should not be taken within 4 hours of thyroid medication. However some of my supplements like selenium for example do contain magnesium stearate as side ingredient will this effect levo absorption dramatically or not?

autophagy: Surprising insights
When the scientists used a genetic trick to switch off autophagy-mediated cellular waste disposal, instead of detecting protein deposits, as expected, they found elevated levels of the endoplasmic reticulum, a system composed of membrane sacs which acts, among other functions, as a
calcium
store.

Alternatives to Adcal
Hi I responded badly to Adcal and my GP said there would be enough
calcium
in my diet. I take vitD and K2 plus multi vitamin daily and I’m on 8mgs Pred. However, I’ve been on a bio-sulphate for over three years and want to stop. Any suggestions as to another kind of
calcium
I could take? Thanks!

Questions around thyroxine/life after total thyroidectomy, 4 days post-op !
I understand this is something to look out for because of low
calcium
, but I mentioned it to both my surgeon and endocrinologist earlier and they both said my levels were totally fine even after running another blood test so they don't know what's causing it. Should I bring it up again?

Would Valium affect my blood test for an under or over active thyroid ?
Hi, I was prescribed Valium just to relax me for a few days but I got a test to see if I’ve an Uber or over active thyroid. I am just wonder if the Valium will affect my results. Tuesday night I took 10mg of of Valium. Then I got a blood test Thursday morning at 8.30am. Is it possible it could damage

Can anyone help me with what to say, and what tests to ask for, at my cardiology appointment?
I had a clear CT Cardiac Cor artery
calcium
scoring. My symptoms are sometimes in isolation and sometimes at the same time, most often mild, but sometimes worse and worrying. The worst incidents happen at night where I am woken up by symptoms, where many happen simultaneously.
