Results of CT coronary angiography
Results today from my CT scan-
calcium
score is 0 🙌 but due to high heart rate didn't have complete CT coronary angiography. Consultant said this is quite reassuring and means there is a very low likelihood of significant CAD and has made no further follow up arrangements.

Dairy foods, calcium intakes, and risk of incident prostate cancer in Adventist Health Study-2
Studies available to me ~18 years ago associated dairy &
calcium
with worse outcome. Something like >1 pint of milk or 1,000 mg
calcium
seemed to me to be unwise. Then, over the years, the evidence weakened. Men returned to dairy. So this study will be unwelcome to some.

Valium alternatives
So while in hospital for my barrage of tests etc I was taking high doses of slow K and slow Mag morning and night (magnesium and potassium) and Thiamine (high dose in the morning) and Valium in the morning and at night. A little bit baffled why T3 has reduced slightly when taking levo
as it was too inconvenient with taking
calcium
supplements and fortified milk etc at breakfast time.

Taurine Supplementation as a Neuroprotective Strategy upon Brain Dysfunction in Metabolic Syndrome and Diabetes 2022
Alterations to taurine homeostasis can impact a number of biological processes, such as osmolarity control,
calcium
homeostasis, and inhibitory neurotransmission, and have been reported in both metabolic and neurodegenerative disorders.

Bit of a Rant
My ferritin was slightly elevated and my
calcium
was below range so I was told to have them repated. I got an early morning draw because my surgery decided for reasons unknown, to repeat all the blood tests even the normal ones 😒.

I Really Don't Understand My GP
However my serum
calcium
is below range and my ferritin slightly elevated. They said these needed retesting. So I contacted the surgery and was told yes make an appointment for bloods, we'll put them on the system.

Calcium
Channel blocker. I feel terrible. The pain is much duller, but still there, and I feel lethargic. Do all meds cause this? Can I switch to something else? Armour? Can someone please share if this happened to them? THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!!!
