Gemcitibane/intravenous zoledronic acid
I was given intravenous zoledronic acid which, although it worked to lower the
calcium
, caused me a lot of nasty and painful side effects, some of which I'm still suffering now, still living on painkillers, so I am very reluctant to have that drug again.

How much is too much D3
There’s evidence that it’s ‘safe and well tolerated’ I went to see my bone consultant today, he wasn’t impressed by me taking this amount but my
calcium
level is good and my dexa results have gone from -2.6 to -2.1 in 2 years I also take k2 and magnesium , which , is hopefully getting the d3 to

Bones Absorbing Calcium
Does anyone know if there is a test to take to know how well or if our bones are absorbing the
calcium
we eat and
calcium
supplements we take? Does testing
calcium
in the blood tell us how much
calcium
our bones are absorbing ?

Vitamin D metabolism in cancer: potential feasibility of vitamin D metabolism blocking therapy
Briefly, high intake of
calcium
will reduce access; fructose will increase access. In my case, I do not use
calcium
supplements & I sweeten my coffee with fructose. -Patrick [1] https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36749415/ [2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CYP24A1

Calcium and other bone needs
Decided not to take the 500 g of
calcium
built into the triple pill containing K2 and D3. It was also a huge pill which is off putting. I’ve purchased the K2 and D3 combination but picked a separate one for the
calcium
which contains 250 g.

Collagen Peptide supplements and bone quality
There are a series of things that can be done -- 1, Get a DEX scan now 2, Supplement with
Calcium
, K2, D3 and magnesium 3, Have your MO or whoever put you on BMD medication (eg denosumab, et al) Now comes the question.

Calcium Supplements
I want to thank all of you who responded to my question on using
calcium
supplements. I received many replies on exercise, diet, efficacy and side effects which led me to conclude that my current lifestyle is more than adequate to maintain bone health without supplements.

Tired all the time
I take a lot of supplements (
calcium
, D3, folate, complex B, magnesium glycinate, heme iron),
the only value that was low was ferritin
but I do take iron. I also take Novothyral, which is 100 mcg T4 and 20 mcg T3.

Cheese
Whether the milk problem is due to
calcium
, IGF-I or something else, wouldn’t cheese contain those same components? Perhaps not: “Each 200 g increment in milk per day was associated with 10.0 µg/L … higher IGF-1.
