high blood pressure.
I also read that Felopodine is a
calcium
channel blocker, whereas Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor, but a
calcium
channel blocker was mentioned. Is this right. I feel like Felopodine has taken 2 months of my life, not able to eat properly, not going out and in extreme pain.

Advice on halting bone loss following Dexa and hrt or other supplements.
Suggestion is I get more exercise, stop smoking, eat more dairy and/or take
calcium
and vit D!!! This is general advice, it's not even a personal letter.

How often should you repeat DEXA scan if you have Osteopenia?
In 2018 when I was aged 25 I had low
calcium
on blood tests so I was referred for a dexa scan. It found that I had slight low bone density for my age. Spine -1.3 Hip -1.6 I was diagnosed with osteopenia and prescribed vitamin d and
calcium

Medication to treat AFIB and hair losss
I have been on Apixaban, diltiazem (a
calcium
channel blocker) and Flecainide for AFIB. Initially I was on only the apixaban and diltiazem but they had no effect and my AFIB occurred much more frequently and was getting worse. My cardiologist then put me on Flecainide.

Prolia 1yr Update
I chose not to take Vitamin D or
calcium
as they were within normal range. My DEXA scan a year later showed a 3.5 % increase in bone density in my hip with a T of -0.9 and assessed as normal.

Biphosphonates Questions
In 2018 I was encouraged by HeronNS’s advice about rebuilding bone naturally—
calcium
, D3, K2, exercise with weighted vest, and
calcium
diet. The 2021 DEXA went from spine (2.5 to 2.0) and hip (1.4 to 1.3) but femur (2.0 to 2.5). Heron’s advice really worked!!!!! (Thanks, HeronNs!!).

Will lowering T3 dose raise TSH?
The blood
calcium
is finally dropping. I can function on my current dosage of 50 mcg levo and 60 mcg Liothyronine, spread over two days. My doctor wants to halve the T3 dose for 2 weeks and then again halve it to see if the TSH comes up.

should you take supplements at the same time as the Pred dose?
I recently read not to take
calcium
supplements at the same time as my morning pred dose, are there any other wisdoms about taking Vit D, potassium etc at the same time as pred ? or is it better to not take anything else at the same time? thanks

Heart-healthy foods.
One theory is that the
calcium
in milk can drive total
calcium
intake to a level that inhibits hormonal vitamin D creation (cacitriol from calcidiol). Another is that it is the IGF-I (insulin-like growth factor 1), which tends to be elevated in PCa.

I have been taking
calcium
and vitamin D all along but maybe I need to increase the amount I am taking, or switch to a particular brand?? Here in Texas we are expecting temperatures to be in the high eighties tomorrow which will be a cool front after weeks of 100 plus!
