Started pred 15mg on 23rd April, stayed on this for 6 weeks (a bit longer than I was advised by GP but I had a fall) then went to 12.5mg for about 6 weeks, now on 11mg since 3 dys ago ( my own dosage because I was scared to drop from 12.5 to 10). Feel ok at the moment. I had a phone appt with rheumy

Rheumatologist consultation since my original post
Today I have, finally, received a copy of a letter from my Rheumatologist, sent to my GP, following my consultation on the 1st July. Under “Diagnosis” she has written; ?Polymyaglia Rheumatica, ?Ploymyalgic Arthritis. So, apparently, the jury is still out! Under “Medication” she has put; 1. Prednisolone

Has anybody had good ultra sound results but still had cirrhosis? I have had 4 normal LFTs, and now two clear US, the last one yesterday was done by a consultant radiographer. I still have constipation, hair loss and blurry vision. I sometimes have a terrible taste in my mouth and urine smells strong

Under- medicated or Peri-menopausal??
Iv been having a few symptoms over the last couple of months, ie irregular periods, emotional, tiredness, hot flushes, aches and pains especially pelvic pain. I thought this could be perimenopause symptoms so before my Dr would consider HRT she wanted to check my bloods to see if anything else was happening
